Excited ...but im a stan so u probably dont care...but im ibsessed with this boy and EVERYTHING he does🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@tististisk87533 жыл бұрын
My bigger concern is more with how he'll soon become the boy who cried wolf, making up false situations (like how he lied about Montero being taken off spotify) only to get more attention. He's very hungry for fame and is seemingly willing to do anything for it with way too many lies and publicity stunts. A lot of artist do it, but they're not as open about it as Nas it. It's just a bit of a turn off for me, in regards to his work and music. I hope when he releases his album, he improves on his lyrical abilities and goes more in depth about what it was like to be black and gay, all the homopgobia he faced, what he had to go through mentally, etc etc. It could be a groundbreaking work of art, especially with all the attention he has on him. But I can see that I'm probably asking too much of him since he's not really that type of artist...
@POPICANA3 жыл бұрын
I can see u what u mean by he's not that type of artist but I also think he's a REALLY smart marketer (case in point the old town road remixes/memes and the devil shoes) so Idk, I feel like he's slowly shifting into a mere sincere artist because he knows if he goes too fast, his audience won't like it. I have faith in him to create something amazing. Even if he doesn't have the skills now, I'm sure he can work to better his musicianship and create something really great. Lil Nas is absolutely NOT a one hit wonder in my opinion. 😃

@brettschaft54633 жыл бұрын
I just don't think you get it. He wants to create a universe where he doesn't have to talk about "the struggle" - where someone can be gay, trans, nonbinary, queer, etc. without society ever batting an eye.

@lucas10armond3 жыл бұрын
hyperpop will eat the mainstream up! I really belive is this "slow burn" trajectory for the genre. Cuz it is so versatile and inclusive. Like I'm from Brazil and here a scene is already forming, one of our greatest pop artists, Pabllo Vittar, is always flirting with that sound, and it is SO GOOD!

i guess i’ve been a fan of HIM for a while, not necessarily his music. i think he’s funny and you know imma munch any lgbtq+ representation right up, but his music is just sorta all over the place and flat at the same time. he has said his album is going to contain different genres which can be hard to pull off, especially early in your career while you’re still building your image and sound. if he goes in more of a pc music or hyperpop direction though, i think it could work.

I agree, even the devil is this Halloween cliché red devil, some Christians didn't even take him seriously and only condemned the deviancy. I also don't like it when celebrities try to fool their audience, he washed his hands off and said he wasn't aware of the FKA twigs inspiration and that it was the special effects people, but he supposedly co-directed it, what kind of artist and co-director is not aware of the references & inspirations of their own video? the similarities are matter of composition, camera work and creativity, not special effects. He's either lying about directing it or not being aware of the similarities... PD: he sings awfully without autotune in that genius interview, maybe i'm too harsh on him but it is true haha

@@POPICANA I mean I know there’s the rumors about the remix album with Charli and Rina, and didn’t BloodPop say that some of the SOPHIE tracks (Rip legend) would eventually, maybe be released? in my opinion, the opening and the camp represents a destroyed mindset, its clean and not dark, its bright and flowery much like Christians told him about, but it hides something dark, (the snake) which represents him discovering himself and going to a much darker place (hell) where he can truly be himself without the fake bubbly pink covering
