My hilux 2.4 MT does around 17kpl going down and around 9kpl going up to baguio. Averages around 12-13 kpl and I dont drive conservatively.

Converted to USG, that would be about 25 mpg. I've done that route before to Baguio, and it isn't great on fuel economy, so it's even more impressive for a mid-sized truck based SUV. My RAM on that route would be about 5.7km/L. A NA gas V6 mid-size would barely be better than 7-8 km/L on a similar route.

Driving a Montero AT at 10.7 or 11 km per liter mostly uphill climb to Baguio, in my opinion is Fuel Efficient.

Sobra tipid tlga to talo ibang brand kay Montero. Kaya pla pinaliit ung tangke nito pra mas magaan. kc ung comsumption nya pla mahina . Kya wag kau bibili ng 2.8 mabigat tlga un pwedsado. Ito plinano tlga kung di lng to nasira dati dahil sa aacceleration baka mas mahal pa tlga sya s foturner

@@michaeljohnsalik2293 Yes absolutely, Remapping is kind of in lay mans term "Adjusting the settings on your phone". You want to make it brighter adjust the brightness to high settings, you want to make it louder adjust the volumes(You don't have to upgrade parts, kahit lagi naka max volume mo di naman masisira ang CP same with cars). Most Engine's are overly built i.e. Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Toyota(Ford and Nissan not enough info, some tuners claims they can remap them but not enough figures shows that the current engines are as sturdy as their competitors). These engines, they have safety protections applied that you cannot over tuned your engine(Unless the tuner is nagmamagaling and did not adhere to your liking to tune it on the safe side as possible with gains). As I said awhile ago, na parang nag adjust ka lang ng settings. This is what remapping does, you can adjust your car's parameters and settings according to your liking, adjust the throttle response i.e. at 1000 rpm inject a bit more diesel and give it more air, adjust turbo spool ,adjust the air/fuel ratio if gusto mo mabilis, unlock the speed limit(Pwede gawin topspeed 500km/h, factory usually is nasa 180 tops lang), pero ofcourse hindi aabot ung car mo to that speed hehehe, pero if modified car mo you can maximize the gain). Disadvantage siguro if the tuner doesn't know what they are doing, i.e. no dyno for profiling though there are some good tuners without dyno they make first run and then adjusts the settings. AVOID Copy and Paste tuner if possible. Pwedeng maging Bad A/F can lead to more diesel consumption(but ofcourse still more power) or Put in the wrong tune i.e. instead of for Daily use Tuned they put Race Track use tune defintely sabog engine mo. hehe So it is important to seek for a Real tuner w/ Dyno if possible but minimum requirement atleast those who gets the initial car profile(Load, Modifications, Test run) muna before tuning.
