This is awesome. Thanks for sharing the categories in depth. Right now my kids have access to ALL of their toys and their toy room is always a chore to pick up. I told them that I was thinking of locking up all the toys and pulling out just a little at a time and my oldest was like, “yes! Please mom, we should!” I think he gets tired of picking up the play room from week to week, too. When we limit their options it opens their mind to creativity! I know once I do it, my littles will feel a lot better, too!

New here! I love montessori based learning. I do some rotating too. Although I have 2 different age so I try only once a month. Aside from it all gosh do you save on batteries with wooden toys too lol.. We do lots of home made toys too, do you make any yourself?

Oh I love that! I don't make too many toys myself but we do plenty of crafts and other creative home activities. 😊

I wish my husband would get on board with a toy rotation! He thinks there needs to be all the toys all the time and it drives me nuts lol
