Montessori The Grammar Story with AMI colour coding

Dr. Maria Montessori understood the power of story-telling to inspire children's curiosity about the world around them. I was inspired by my colleagues and her teachings to create this video as an overview and introduction to the patterns found in language. When students work with the grammar boxes, they have an opportunity to practice reading words, move the words about, match words to sentence fragments and sentences and gain a deeper, kinesthetic, understanding of the patterns found in our speech.
