I am going for university of east lomdon. Can you tell me how much is the living cost in london as a student?

It depends, if you are living in sharing basis and landlord is paying the rest bills like council and all, then i would say 800 to 1000 pounds per month If you are paying all bills also on sharing basis then it can goes upto 1000 to 1100 pounds per month
