For non pigeon people, that mask is not for smell, It's for the pigeon feather-dust you can notice while he's cleaning. The waste materials do not smell once they're bone dry.

You should feed them in a different area. I have my pigeons on the roof and they have a section in the backyard where I feed them. twice a day once in the morning and once before it gets dark. And I spray clean the poop with water daily.

@@ceyxloft Yah, i like the open 1 ft tall side wall where i can open n scrape all the shit out onto a sled with green grass lawn mower clippings n banana orange apple skin peels n etc n bury in my mom's garden soil. Free fertilizer to grow. Tomatoes garlic onion hotpeppers n miracle n rare medicinal ancient asian plant herbs bloodline plants. Saves on trash bag space too. But i do need your hardcore mask when u breath during cleaning. Thanx for that heads up for me.
