I never understood why Morelon losed this match

The attack from Tkac came from unbelievable long distance, he literally exploded prematurely... But he somehow managed to hold the pace and speed. Exact opposite of the first run, where Tkac came from behind in last meters, or the second one, where neither of them wanted to go and Morelon won on the middle distance attack. In this last one, younger rider bets all he has on his speed endurance and it pays off. He never won like this before against top class riders; this is extremely risky and needs huge stamina.
