I remember the great rivalry in 60's and 70's between the Habs and Black Hawks(goalies not wearing masks, great players like Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Jean Bellevue, Jacques Lemairre, etc. I apologize if I got the French names wrong. I'm a Leaf fan, and have been since I was a little kid. It was the only games they would show on TV at the time. They were the home team, and so obviously I was going to cheer for them. However, I am a hockey fan first, and there are other teams I cheer for. So that being said, even though I'm a Leaf fan, I don't hate the Habs. I am really happy they are making it to the finals, and I know they are going to bring the cup back to Canada. Price is my favorite goalie, and I really want him to have a ring. "Go Habs Go!!!!"

Amazing! When I saw the video of the fans in Montreal cheering it brought back memories of the 2010 Olympics when Crosby scored the golden goal. Silence to roars of excitement. One little side note is I dig the little tap Gallagher gave to Lehner shortly after the goal. No Vegas players around their goalie, but it was a Montreal player that probably gave a word or two of encouragement.

It won’t happen, the drought will probably only end once Toronto makes it to the finals. (Longest drought for a country in the league and longest franchise stanley cup drought. It just makes sense imo)

Kind of the beauty of Hockey. Seeing a team like the Hab's with their regular season record and kind of stumbling into the playoffs. Play out of their minds and get into the cup finals. Im a bruins fan and don't care for them. However it would be nice to see some of those veterans raise the cup before they call it a career. Best of luck to them in the finals
