Montreux Oberland Bernois Model Railway - Model trains from Switzerland

The “Montreux Oberland Bernois Railway” is a famous narrow-gauge railway company, operating in Switzerland. It’s one of the oldest electric railways in Europe. The main line, 62.4 km (38.8 mi) in length, built to 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) gauge, connects the cities of Montreux, Gstaad and Zweisimmen. On the model railway layout, we can see the rail traffic at “Gstaad Railway Station”. We can also discover one of the most beautiful model trains, namely the “Golden Pass Panoramic Train” in original crystal panoramic livery. The model trains and locomotives are made by “BEMO” Company.

C'est sympa de retrouver cette ligne. Je l'ai pris dans la réalité cette rame en tant que passager. Par endroit la ligne se partage avec la route, à l'époque j'étais chauffeur, c'était super dangereux quand on se retrouvait deux camions et un train sur la même route.

Just seen a video of a new train in the UK the class 755 it is remarkably similar to the train in the opening shot, 4 carriages with the loco / power car in the centre, where are they built? Coincidentally Switzerland. Beautiful model by the way.

La ligne aérienne ou la caténaire n'est pas parfaitement construite. Les pantographes déchireraient la caténaire.

Sieht ja nicht schlecht aus, aber warum fahren die Loks mit den Stromabnehmern unten ? Und auch schade das keine Personen in den Wgongs sitzen.

Stromabnehmer sind unten, weil die Oberleitung nicht perfekt gebaut wurde. Würden wir mit Stromabnehmern fahren, bleiben die Lokomotiven hängen und das Chaos wäre perfekt. Allerdings gebe ich Dir Recht, daß in den Zügen kleine Figuren hätten eingebaut werden können. Aber Du weißt, die Welt - auch die Miniaturwelt - ist nicht perfekt.
