No you are not. The director who who staged and filmed, costume designer, cast, husband, brother, friends, etc came to be stunned that THE WINDS were so severe the performance was in ready to cancel but instead delayed that when the film of the performance did hope to create, WAS THE VERY 'ELEMENT or PROP' THAT WAS 'TO BRING ALL THE PARTS TOGETHER.' This WIND had reached 60 mile gales on and off, but was no doubt the piece of the theatre that only the SYNCHRONITY ARRIVED. when you do watch the full performance, you will see Caballe eye upon moments of 'the winds?' BUT CABALLE WAS A SEASONED PROFESSIONAL and had been through ALOT worse in her private life...SHE WAS QUITE A STRENGTH OF HUMILITY and HUMOR. A POWERFUL Aand MOST VALUED FILM was CAPTURED in ALL the CABALLE moments THAT SHE KNOCKED MANY MOMENTS OF HER GIFT OUT BACK TO THE GODS...🤗

She herself regards this as her greatest single performance. She really is sublime, the voice, long breath control, pianissimos, the forte high C, the ferocious attack of the heavier passages, clear phrasing (not always Montserrat''s strength), regal bearing, fantastic! Listen to her "Casta Diva" from this performance, such splendor defies description, easily the most beautifully sung version of the aria ever recorded. The 20th century saw 3 great Normas: Ponselle, Callas, and Caballe. Basta.

If the aria would sound better with an altered phrasing she would do it. She wanted perfection of the sound even though she had no problem with pronunciation. She spoke perfect Italian.

I was able to discover the library has a network to all arteries of other USA libraries, college/universty that one is able to check out and view...if you are in USA. I even learned that some extension does go as far as other countries. Further, a purchase is available on Amazon and other. I do suspect the Caballe TRUST Foundation has some control to limit and release.
