Ok this is just a guess but I think the reason Monty is trying to sell addictive sauce with nicotine and other things is that he's trying to get a way to have lots of money and since Moon is out of commission or just forgotten how to lend money and doesn't know anyone right now.. Monty needs the money to fix Lunar maybe for more materials. Idk what else to think about this but I do hope that he is able to fix up Lunar with that one nano-machine bot.
