MP helped get me through the miserable early stages of adolescence. Their inventiveness, absurdist aesthetic and general zaniness helped shape my worldview forever.

Trotsky singing "I'm Just an Old-Fashioned Girl". What kind of twisted mind makes that up? These guys should have been elected to the U.S. Senate, or the House of Lords, depending on their country of origin.

@x40xandus Russia is the second best army in Ukraine. Wagner proved Russia is the second best army in Russia. Putin is only alive because Wagner decided its too much trouble to start a Civil War. If any leader of any real strength had a rebellion he'd put their heads on spikes. Putin just let him recruit and retrain in Belarus. This time next year Wagner will be able to overwhelm the Russian military. Face it, the Russian military sucks.

I like the poster at 6:25 , advertising a variety show, it’s a nice touch that would have taken a bit of work but they don’t draw attention to it. Burgess and Maclean as a double act, I suppose that was recently in the news right about when this was aired. I had to wiki who bulganin was, and I wonder why they added Cook and Moore at the bottom. Maybe no real reason….

Cook and Moore, along with Jonathan Miller and Alan Bennett, came out of the Oxford and Cambridge student revues, and then were in the original 'Beyond the Fringe', kicking off the 'Satire Boom' of the early 60s. Several of The Pythons (and The Goodies) were in the Cambridge Footlights Club a few years later, becoming famous with the show 'Cambridge Circus.'
