I don't feel like the "server restart block" is too cheaty. It just fixes the redstone breaking behavior of the game that happens during server restarts. I view it as more of a selfmade Bugfix.

Exactly the point I made when this came up in a previous video, in a perfect world server restarts wouldn't be needed and your contraptions would be able to run forever, but the real world is imperfect and restarts are necessary, so the restart block at least allows you to deal with that and not have to design contraptions that take into account those real world wrinkles

Server Restart ist automated with a mod. I think it's fair to combat that with a datapack.

Doc, the reset doesn’t work because when the special block changes into a redstone block, the redstone dust changes shape from a cross into a line. That line is pointing away from the piston. You need to change the dust so it actually goes into the piston

For decorating the beacon, it's worth noting that beacon blocks themselves are transparent and allow a beam to go through, so you could build a hollow beacon base with a beacon block on top to fake the appearance of a real beacon on the surface, meanwhile the real thing is underground

You dont need the magic block in spawn chunks, you can use chunk reload detector with armor stand wearing freezing boots. Water freezes on chunk load, you detect it with observer and melt the ice so its reset for next time.

The goat statue is amazing! Absolutely love it! The pride beacon is also fantastic, and your efforts to make it work flawlessly is just so endearing! For the payment system, i think a small part of it is the shulker blends in so well with your wall, bdubs plays with brightness at 30, so he likely just didnt even see the sulker at all.

Iskall did some extensive UI development for his shop "Mission Possible". You could take a look at what he did for some research into your payment system at the trim shop. Or, use the same kind as the hour glass and be consistent, since once they learn how to use the payment system, they will know how it works. You only have 29 hermits, it's not like it's for a massive server with rotating people.
