This album is by a country mile better than anything they've released since amanuensis. And after 4/5 weeks and maybe 20-30 plays its my go to for the commute to work. THIS is the monuments sound. More eclectic than the focussed amanuensis, equally challenging technically, but much more rewarding, and just outright fun to listen to. less tesseract and more misery signals (not in sound - just equally technical bands but MS way more fun to listen to). Glad you waited this amount of time to drop this, it's definitely going to be one of my top 5 full lengths this year. Gutted i couldn't make this gig. LIKE ABSOLUTELY gutted.

I dunno mate there are some absolute bangers between amanuensis and this album. The Watch, Vanta, Jukai, Deadnest are all masterpieces imo and hold their own against anything on In Stasis.

I wouldn't compare Tesseract with MS (totally different styles imo) but I get you. This album is growing on me XD

This is my first monuments album and it’s so fucking good. After listening to it I listened to their old stuff and as good as it was, I didn’t like it nearly as much as this one.

Sort of surprised that they tuned down a bit. Maybe the vocalist had trouble staying on pitch live?🤷🏼♂️
@karankulkarni42042 жыл бұрын
No they've always done this because they have songs in DADGAD as well songs in the C#G#C#F#G#C# so it just doesn't make sense to carry two guitars for that.
@PapaRainYT2 жыл бұрын
@sleeper879 naw he can definitely do it.

loads of bands tune down a half step for some songs. nothing wrong with it, singing like that every night is extremely difficult
@meganarrow60052 жыл бұрын
He sounds amazing, they made a completely kick ass performance and this is what you complain about ? I hate metal fans, just shut up 🙄
@MeTakingAStand2 жыл бұрын
nah I've seen Andy live with another band. kid is a freak--definitely doesn't struggle staying on pitch live
