“Mood Lifters - A Tribute to Rush” is a Southern California Rush Tribute Band formed in 2021. The band’s focus is on the faithful recreation and performance of songs from all eras of Rush’s career, “from first to last.” Every song is on the table, and the band performs the classics and deep cuts with tremendous energy and care.
Mood Lifters are:
Rocky Kuner - vocals;
Isamu Kakitani - bass guitar, keyboards, pedals;
Ben King -- guitar;
Mat Miranda -- drums & percussion.
Each of the Mood Lifters is a lifelong fan of Rush and has played Rush’s music in other Rush tribute bands or otherwise.

Rocky and Ben are performing with Paul Beaulieu and Eion Da Paor at RUSHFest Scotland in Glasgow on May 11, 2024! If you can make the trip, grab some tix and you won't be disappointed as they have a killer set planned! Also, Rocky and Ben will play additional songs as guests in the RUSHFest Allstars Band. The other artists will be performing great Rush as well, along with several members of the Clockwork Angles String Ensemble. That aside - we have a full show vid in the works so stay tuned for that as well!
