“Sheep Stealer” is one of 3 wild dragons, and his story is pretty interesting. I guess as far as dragons go, his appearance was considered ugly. People didn’t like him, other dragons didn’t like him, so he was very lonely. He lived somewhere that wasn’t far from the reach of humans. This girl, named Nettles, was lived near where the dragon lived. As far as people go, she was considered ugly. Nettles wanted to meet “Sheep Stealer”, so she started bringing the dragon a sheep to eat every day. Sheep Stealer became more comfortable around her, and liked the food, so after a while of just feeding him sheep and petting him/sitting near him, he let Nettles ride him. And that’s how they became bonded. She is the only civilian in history to technically “own” a dragon.

It is already confirmed that 3 largest dragons were balerion then vhagar and then vermithor. But the cannibal was larger than the sheep stealer who was bigger than silverwing and smaller than vermithor. The cannibal was bigger than the sheepstealer. Making him the 4th largest dragon known during the dance of the dragon but as he did not participate in the war and just lived after that and surpassed the vermithor's age. So he might have grown bigger than vermithor. Balerion the black dead the only dragon died of old age was infected with those fire worms like the princess. So that might be the reason that he died. So it can be possible cannibal was still around got times and might have become big as vhagar or even larger

Cannibal the biggest dragon. I know balerion was the biggest tamed one and went to the harsh city and disappeared with his rider and came back some time later and very injured. Would be cool if the reason why he was injured was because of cannibal. Knocking him out the sky.idk but cannibal could have a cool back story. Cannibal could've belonged to Corelys. In the books Cannibal only left Westeros after Corelys passed away. He apparently appeared at his funeral giving a loud roar filled with fire as a salute before flying off.

Cannibal has no connection to Corlys outside of flying in the vicinity of his funeral. The idea that he saluted the Sea Snake is a later embellishment of the story. Plus, Corlys has no Targaryen blood, and thus is not a dragonrider.

With cannibals story, I feel like the only back story for him would be as follows - I think The Cannibal was around since Old Valyria and escaped Old Valyria when the Doom event happened. His owners died in the event and he flew over to Westeros and no one was able to claim or tame him as his blood owners had all died. So he just lived off whatever was in Westeros and got larger and larger over time. He was probably angry and didnt have anyone to tame him, hence why he became a cannibal.

Cannibal is only stated to be larger than the two other wild dragons. The only dragons he’s ever eaten have been newborns and eggs.
