The song speaks to the universal truths of Buddhism, TM, Christianity. We are called to peace, harmony and our realistic image of ourselves as really small parts of a big picture - humility. Consider the lilies , be still and know the sublime and to give it a word is important to some Om

I bought this album when barely a teen in the '60s. I knew if I was having a bad day I could go home and have solitude in my room with this inspiring music. Back then I knew very little of TM but I now know The Moodys were into it pretty deep as evidenced by this monumental album. Now I can listen to this and get totally immersed into the universe. What a gift they have given us....

Ommmmmmmm Ommmmmmmmm Heaven! OOOOOOMMMMMMM. This is the sound of the mental plane which is the top of the psychic/spiritual worlds of duality of the lower worlds of time space and matter. This is source of pure thought and cosmic consciousness, It is believe that Jesus and many other ascended masters reside on. This is not a distance place far off some where but a higher dimension of reality which is all around and within us all. For Heaven is not place but a state of being within.

great vocal exercise at the end they go up three scales in perfect harmony no wonder they are the Choir of the Angels. people this was originally released in quadraphonic, those who didn't hear it as it was intended do not understand what they missed as to envision it in Quadro on acid is beyond words for description, especially through a reel to reel with Acustic Research vacuum sealed speakers mindblowing is a shallow description. :)

LyricsThis garden universe vibrates complete Some may get a sound so sweet Vibrations reach on up to become light And then through gamma, out of sight Between the eyes and ears there lie The sounds of color and the light of a sigh And to hear the sun, what a thing to believe But it's all around if we could but perceive To know ultra violet, infra-red and X-rays Beauty to find in so many ways Two notes of the chord, that's our full scope But to reach the chord is our life's hope And to name the chord is important to some So they give a word and the word is Om

@SenorSpode Dito and mega kudos for expressing it -- Now I see that consciousness came to this point in the baby boom gen after the most horrific war the world ever knew -- that awareness and light gives us the tools to transform the world into a place in which our predecessors can thrive and enjoy. So, our light bears us a great responsibility: give light back to the world, the heart, for ALL of our children’s children’s... Moodies keep their song of light alive; other songs live on in heart.

The symbol for OM is ॐ in Devnagari script. It's the most sacred symbol in Hinduism. The sound has four parts to it -- aa, oo, mmm, and the fourth part is the silence that follows. The wiki says, "It is the most sacred syllable symbol and mantra of Brahman, the highest Universal Principle, the Ultimate Reality in Hinduism. Om connotes the metaphysical concept of Brahman in Hinduism. The syllable is often chanted either independently or before a mantra; it signifies the Brahman as the ultimate reality, consciousness or Atma. The Om sound is the primordial sound and is called the Shabda-Brahman (Brahman as sound). In Hinduism, Om is one of the most important spiritual sounds.
