Love the pumpkin was also my favorite. I have a quilt my great aunt gave me years ago, it was coming apart from age, so I salvaged enough of the quilt and covered a pumpkin frame and made a bow from the quilt and a couple of wooden thread spools. It is my favorite pumpkin wreath. I think she would have loved it.

I get my FALL decor out next week and that gives me plenty of time to make everything look lovely by September 1st!! We totally dislike Halloween at our house so I will tweak my autumn decor right up until Thanksgiving and then I decorate for winter for December through middle of February and then we go back to normal decor for spring and summer. Fall is my all time favorite, evidenced by how much I decorate…leaves and pumpkins everywhere! 🧡🍂🧡

I am in love with both of these, I do a glam/gothic Halloween decor and these would fit in perfect! Last year I made 3 very different pumpkins from that wreath form - one with a fabric pattern, 1 in black leather for Halloween and one with brown leather for Fall. And now I want to do one in velvet, that one is just gorgeous!

I put out Fall then halloween and then Fall until Thanksgiving day I decorate for Christmas. I like bright Fall colors then more darker leaves after halloween

Yes the pumpkin forms I was looking for them two years ago couldn’t find any so I ordered a full case, I kept half and took the others to the Dollar tree for an exchange of other products! These are totally well made wire firms!

I’ll up Fall decor next week. That will stay up till the middle of September. Then I will add touches of spiders, ghosts, witch hats, skulls, black foliage,creepy cloth. Whew! Then take all that down and put up Christmas🎃🎄

I also do the moody fall decor - all the country trucks and such not my thing - but my year around decor is dark and burnt type colors with maple furniture and my dark navy blue fabrics and burnt orange and - its like a burnt brown or burnt off white tone its not white its not brown but looks smokie and also i do a color that i mix myself its not sold in stores for my hallways and such and i refinish bedroom furniture for my living and i put that color along side aluminum dark aluminum not shiny hardware and also varying gold hardware people seem to really fall in love with my furniture its timeless i love your crafts soooo pretty!

I don't start decorating until the third week of September. I always do fall first, then I add my Halloween pieces for October. Once Halloween is over, I pack the Halloween pieces away and am able to go back to my fall decor until I'm ready to decorate for Christmas. ☺️

Yes you can! It only needs to stretch if it’s pants so it fits over the frame. You can use the curtain for sure.

When I reuse thrifted items, I don’t go to the store to buy new items. I think the purpose of reusing is lost if we keep buying new stuff all the time. There is always garage sales too. But I don’t juge, that’s just something I want to do.

I appreciate your words of encouragement. Usually when one encourages others it is to the younger women that you are speaking. However, I do not fit into that category. I will be 80 (yikes) in a few days (August 18). I've been crafty all of my life and have a lot of experience in a lot of things. I am not in a position to develop a channel such as I see on You Tube, but I have a lot of crafts that I would like to share. Also, I do not have the room for many of the power equipment that i see on the many channels that I watch, even if I could afford them. Do you have any suggestions as to a way to share my crafts with others. I have been making wreaths for several years, but I would like to show some of my craftiness as well. I enjoy your work very much. If it is not too much trouble, could you respond. BTW I live in Salado, Texas.
