Mooer GE200 - Kurt Cobain Nirvana Rig - Gig Ready For $299

Hey Dudes! This video is to demonstrate to people on a budget and younger players how it is possible to have a gig ready rig with familiar sounds for a very reasonable price!
You could play anywhere with a PA even without an amp or even use the headphone out to your home stereo or a small powered speaker for home practice use, the Mooer GE200 has 2 separate outs which are assignable. So onstage you could have the no amp or cab sim right output to an amp, and the amp and cab sim on left channel to PA!
It sounds great at my practice rooms.

Just bought one - sweet easy guide - mimicking the artists. once they are all in and preset (eg floyd or hendrix when laying a loop could have two or three guitar settings for the loop its dub and your solo). Adore the accent BTW, used to live in Stoke, now in China.

Cool this is the kind of the thing my band is looking for. We want the option to just go to a low level gig(unpaid) or open mic and just fucking plug in and play! I'd like to see/hear more videos like this kind of pedal going through the p.a. with a band and hear how that sounds. I have not seen one video like that yet. Thanks man!

Hello Neuri, once again thank you for your amazing tutorial, now my issue is, I want to record video of my playing, I connect my GE-200 with a kind of USB cable to my windows laptop and I use the Camera app in my windows 10 laptop and record while playing, I noticed there is no audio recorded, only video, it was actually ok until couple days ago, very strange, is there any other solution to record a video?

I just had a GE200 myself so I found myself going back through your videos again because all this I.R bollocks is beyond me and I don't have much of a clue about using them. Anyway, yesterday (boxing day) Celestion had a sale on their speaker & cab I.R's so I bought a Pick n Mix of 5 of their speakers for £21, Celestion Blue, Alnico Cream, G12XC, A series, and Heritage Greenback, all of them as 2x12's because that's what sounded better to me and I'm not into high gain metal stuff, more low gain crunch & clean sounds these days as my musical tastes have mellowed as I've gotten older 😆 I'm not sure if I wasted my money buying those Celestion I.R's because I didn't realise that you can get quite a lot for free so that's a bit of a pisser....then again, I'm sure I saw somewhere that some people make patches for this unit and sell them, but I bet that there are also people who make patches and give them away for free, which is how communities like this used to be, but nowadays it seems that most people are on the make. What I wanted to ask was which sites are good ones for getting free downloads etc for the Mooer GE200?

Thanks for this video. What version is your firmware? I noticed that your cab sims have the tube option and mine doesn't, so I upgraded my firmware to 1.2. and got the tube option as well. The problem is it doesn't sound that good anymore. I'm plugging the GE200 straight to my monitor speakers (Yamaha HS5) which are pretty flat and I can't get a decent rock sound out of it anymore, even after copying your settings. The presets sound bad as well in v1.2. I decided to go back to v1.0.1 instead.

Hmmmmmmmmm i cant say I noticed a difference in sounds other than the tube option helped beef up the cab a bit! They are constantly upgrading I'll email them and ask what they changed 👍

GuitarNoodleHouse hey man! Check in system USB audio the rec and play levels, I had to turn them both to 26 to get a nice level but that was depending on the amp level pedal levels etc. Hope that helps! And make sure input level at 0db too! 👍🙏👊

This train wreck pedal will fuck your ears up btw. The distortion clips at such a high impedance that it’ll make you deaf after a couple of minutes. Bought it on a Wednesday sold it on a Thursday
