I saw Mooer commented that the GE 300 has power amp modelling which was absent on the GE 200. Does the GE 250 feature the power amp modelling from the GE 300?

I guess it has since i saw him switching between EL34 and 6L6 tubes in the settings.

The GE250 seems to have less settings in general, just the power tube selection setting where the GE300 has bias and presence as well, the cab block in the GE300 has two mics and more settings than the GE250, the 300 also has separate global EQ for trs, xlr and phones, the 250 seems to have just one global. The GE250 seems like a dumbed down version of the GE300, but that is of course to be expected with the price difference. @@Stefan- Thanks for the reply. I noticed the output valve type under the tube heading. I was unsure whether Mooer meant that the GE200 lacked the same power amp modelling as the GE300 or if it lacked it entirely (which seemed odd upon reflection). This left me unsure if the GE250 was closer to the GE200 or closer to the GE300 in its power amp modelling. I visited the GE250 page on Mooer's site to see if it mentioned anything along the lines of "featuring power amp modelling from our flagship GE300 processor" on the summary page, but it did not. Normally I would view the manual. I visited the site a little while back and cannot remember why I didn't read it. It was either late at night so I put it off or it was unavailable at the time. I noticed Choptones had released a video so I thought I'd ask seeing as he has used all three.

@@Stefan- u r wrong, the 250 has 2 global eq 1 for xlr and 1 for outputs/phone. I had the ge200 and now the 250, for me it sounds better than the little brother.

@@simonerm76 Are you sure, do you own a GE-250 ?. In the manual it says and i quote "GLB-EQ is for the main output, headphone output, and the XLR output" and there is a single screenshot where it says "Outputs & Phone" (page 22) In the GE-300 manual it has three separate screenshots and the text in each of those say 1: Headphone 2. Output 3. XLR page 63. I really do hope it has separate Global EQ´s as you say, since it seems like a pretty serious omission otherwise, in that case the manual is wrong or at least very unclear (it new though). I wish to add that even my old Boss GT-pro from about 2007 that i still use has separate output EQ for XLR or TRS and you can also chose to have cab emulation on or off on the stereo ouputs separately. On the GE 250 it seems that you can only chose to have cab emulation on either the left and right channel, not separately for XLR TRS (Stereo) according to the manual page 35.
