I just noticed how you took advantage of the 2-tier system to install modules on the bottom half, was that once a subharmonicon?, this gives me inspiration to find some modules for my 3-tier, thanks.

My VCA decay knob seems to add so much more decay than yours. When I copy your patch onto my DFAM it sounds completely different. Any idea why that may be happening? I know there will be minor differences between units, but it's insane how much more decay my knob has!

The DFAm sounds like an analog version of the Tweaky Beats App. :)
@vprice5094 жыл бұрын
No wonder I like the DFAM so much. I've had Tweaky Beats for years. It's by far my favorite drum machine app. One sound per step is surprisingly powerful and more interesting than 90% of drum machines out there- Analog, digital synth or sample-based. Funk Box is also a very cool app. It's like a dozen classic drum machines emulated pretty well.
@gravityfreaksmusic4 жыл бұрын
@@vprice509 Yupp, I used them both a loooot. So, the DFAm is a bit like TB sonically, but with knobs. :)

can it produce anything else than fart sounds and filtered noise? because that is what all demos sound like
@fulhjort7 жыл бұрын
Waiting on mine, this helps me deal for the time being. Real nice sounds. However, maybe try not to talk over the sounds too often? Let them play on their own for a while.
@gooneybird8087 жыл бұрын
I love the sound of this thing but the fact that you can't randomize the steps of the sequencer is kind of a deal breaker. An 8 step sequence is way too boring
@mr.irrelevant35887 жыл бұрын
yeah everything else about is good but i wish they would of rethought the sequencer. At least add a midi jack.
@jimmy_jamesjams_a_lot41717 жыл бұрын
Hence enter the BASIMILUS ITERITAS, how much mor€ did you want to $pend? Did you take the ‘£ifeTerm Membership’ offer? Fear not linear friend, there’s plenty of randomization opportunities coming your way sooner than you want;) Think: Quantization... yes there will be soon if not already.
@oracle-00186 жыл бұрын
Seems a lot of bleeps and squeaks are casual. I wish it would produce percussion timbres and such like a timpani crossed with a snare. I would buy it but this doesn’t appear to be a percussion synth more of a monotribe on steroids.

@IanParks1446 жыл бұрын
Interesting concept but feels like a one trick pony... I've never seen anyone transposing the sequence to a different key in realtime so I'm guessing this cannot be done. This makes adding it to music that uses scale progressions is difficult, unless your music is simply flat unchanging music-less bleeps and bloops in the same key. An 8 step sequencer. Who thought this would be a good idea in the design stage?
@myblueextremes15266 жыл бұрын
I like the sound of a piano. However a piano won't do weird sounds that don't sound like a piano. My point being that this perhaps isn't the instrument for you? Just because it doesn't do the thing you think it should, doesn't mean it's a one trick pony that can't make all manner of sounds that someone else would find useful.
@simplestickman55135 жыл бұрын
DFMA has no reset sequencer function, it is so annoying, i will probably sell the one i have because of that, it slows the creative process to the point i have lost my interest in this thing. what were they thinking ??? the people want to manually adjust the bloody steps each time after you stop the sequencer ??? It's fine to just play around with it on its own, but if u ona use it with other gear and sync it to daw, forget it, it's slowing the proces way to much for what it gives in return.
@au666215 жыл бұрын
I cannot see the point in this machine. How can you actually make music with this?? All what it is just chaotic noise coming out of it.
