@KadForward9 ай бұрын
@@paulpeterson394 Hi, I was using a reverb effect in my DAW. Because the mother-32 doesn't have an internal reverb. If I remember I was using the Valhalla Super Massive or the Valhalla Shimmer. The first one you can find it for free on the valhalladsp website. 🙂Cheers!

Good videos. I just got one last week. I’ve been trying to follow how to randomize the notes. Or self generated and I follow what the video tells me but for some reason, it’s not doing it wonder what I’m doing wrong?
@KadForward6 ай бұрын
Mmmh strange 🤔doing it like this should do the trick. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3qmgYyiiLF2rdU&si=2CM-gqqD_FW5vJo0 Can you check the led when in that mode. It should be on the last one, number 8. If not it won't work. Sometimes I have to get back in there as well in order to put it on the random setting. Can you check that? 🙂
@MarcusKnappMusic Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video! Is there any way to use the random output of the assign patch point whole using an external sequencer?
@KadForward Жыл бұрын
Hi Marcus! 👋That's a very good question. I've been testing this with the Key Step Pro... I don't have the answer. But, as I understand it, the Assignable Output will only work while the sequencer of the Mother-32 is running. I will look into. 😉
@KadForward Жыл бұрын
Hi Marcus! I may have found a workaround for this. I just tested this using with the KeyStep Pro. This is what I did I entered the first note of the KB on 8 steps (same note on 8 steps) Than I created a sequence on the Keystep Pro. When I start the sequence on the Keystep, the Mother-32 starts to play (sync) and I was able to use the Assignable output. I hope this helps. I'll make a video to document it.
@MarcusKnappMusic Жыл бұрын
@@KadForward thanks so much for the response! I'd wondered about something like that. I'll have to play with it a bit myself.

@@MarcusKnappMusic You're welcome! I've made a video to support what I was explaining earlier. You can find it here > kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIHWeI2Cmq5qh6c I hope this can work for you. In the meantime I'll keep researching this. 😉

@KadiMusic super tutorial, thank you very much! You have the patch and your ideas also didactically really well built and brought across. One question: Which mode/preset combination have you set in Valhalla supermassive?
@KadForward Жыл бұрын
Hi Alex! Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm preparing the next video to cover the reverb aspect. So I'm glad you ask. 🙂 I used the 'We Are Stardust preset during the demo. You can find it in the Presets: Reverbs > Z-Massive > "We Are Stardust" I'll explain it in more detail in the next video. In the meantime you can already try it out. Let me know what you think about it.👋Thanks again for your support! 🙌

@@KadForward I like to drown my Subsequent in reverb and echo (Boss RE-20) and treat the fx pedal as an instrument. The Moog on sample&hold is very entertaining with an lfo modulating the filter. Seen that you got a SYNTRX, that is a fantastic synth...
