Just got a MATHS as my first "real" module to use with my M32. Your video really helped me a lot to figure it out. Thanks!

Thanks for the ideas, Oz! Be careful to pay attention to the voltages running from the Maths into the Mother-32. I've started (but not yet finished) a doc on CV specs for my gear - most of the M32 inputs like signals that are at most 5V. I think Maths channels 2 and 3 output 10V at max setting. From what I've heard, problems won't necessarily occur right away, but will occur over time. Friendly note from a (nervous) person who knows a little (not a lot yet :)) Maybe you already have this topic well in hand? If so, tips are welcome!

omg I've just bought m32 and maths and now i read this.what can i do to avoid problems?? atenuverter?

Thanks for posting this. I'm an extreme noob and I too would like to compile CV specs for my gear, but I'm having trouble finding some of these specs. For example, Mutable's Marbles outputs a maximum of +5 or -5 volts, but the manual says nothing about what it will accept as an input signal. Do I presume this means it will handle up to +10 unless otherwise stated. How do I determine the max voltage if the documentation doesn't say?

Yeah, damn, the maths really makes any semi modular insanely cooler! Nice work, the video is awesome!

"let's get crazy!" Indeed. Nice examples of what we can do with Maths + Warps. Thanks for sharing this! Gotta get a Maths...

I’m a little late to comment ;) But this is very helpful video. I’m new to eurorack, and have both the M32 and Maths. Maths has been pretty much sitting there...This has blown my mind...I’ll be checking this out ASAP.

Thank you for the upload! I just got a Maths myself to go with my new eurorack and need some pointers on making patches with my Mother.

Hey ! Nice vid ! Seems like you plugged the Warps from its input tho, that's probably why we couldn't hear any change when you were turning CH3's attenuverter.

Super !

Please figure out a way to shoot the video looking straight at the modules. The patching is not visible on the MATHS. Tx

Great video, thanks for sharing. Where is your audio output going from the M32? I'm new to modular and also just got my Mother32 and have just been using the audio out in the back into my interface but the signal seems weak. Any tips?

I've seen Maths with black panels in some photos, does anyone know where I can get a black colored Maths?

i think that it is only sold with the Black and Gold Share System, not individually. www.makenoisemusic.com/synthesizers/shared-system

Hey I don’t see an octave plug on the mother-32, how do you control an external oscillator with the sequencer? I see the gate to control when it plays but not the octave to say how high or low to play it.
@iscariah716 жыл бұрын
Dannytalk just work on one octave range, set on the mother.

Nice demonstration! Good intro to Maths done with great choice of examples. But you need a more interesting sequence on the Mother 32. That one gets monotonous pretty quick.
