By the way, the two pedals Bana has on the right are the 'Eventide Space Reverb' and the 'Moog Minifooger MF Delay' in case anyone curious

Oh man, watching Bana really get into working the synths, changing the patches, coaxing the sounds...just what I love about modular.

57:30 wait WHAT? I read this manual like 3 times ... (Opening the manual) page 36 ... I guess that‘s when Inwas already jamming with the stuff that is at the start of the manual... thanks Bana!

It is super rad how Bana morphs the lower Mother from the initial bell tone, into a bass line, and into swirling white noise.

Superlative performers / explainers... kinda clueless audience though, lol. 25 years as a trained classical musician here. Mother-32 was my first analog synth, in 2017, and I love it to pieces. Counting the days until I get my second one. Currently staying up till 2 AM working on new synth compositions. These performers are inspiring and know the hell out of the instrument, especially the second performer. It's cool how even she says, she basically has no idea how each live performance will go. It's such a freeing instrument, after 25 years learning to control a piano keyboard, it's nice to just let go and let the machine figure things out..

“It just got away from you, mix-wise,” he says - well, at what point did he think it was just getting away from him, comment-wise? Bana handled the dissenter with grace.

Bana's performance is gorgeous. I love the white noise perc sound with the melodies. Reminds me of Stephan Bodzin's synth sounds, which is amazing that she made something really similar sounding on the M32

fantastic! i just bought Bana's album Genera, (which she doesn't use any Moog on). i calculate that's about $2,600 worth of gear she's got there, btw, not including the mixers/amp/etc

I'd like to know how a three tier Mother rack can be transported easily, trouble is it makes a large part of a box. I use two Mothers mounted side by side in a suitcase with other instruments and even a two tier Mother rack would be too tall.

This is amazing. I wish I could attend some of the "Modular on the spot" meet ups. I have a question, why does Bana's rack look different than Rodents? It looks the same from the back, but on the sides it looks like it could possibly be hidden behind the the wood panels. Any one know what's up with that?
@TheObxpander7 жыл бұрын
Looks like she flipped the removable wooden panels with the rack. The wooden ears come off pretty easily. Maybe modified with some longer screws, I'd bet. First i've ever seen it that way as well, Mine are like Rodent's and everyone else's.
@GoedGezien7 жыл бұрын
The longer screws come with the 2 or 3-tier rack but taking of the wooden sides makes it too small in width since the back bottom corner piece has the same width as the mother including the wooden sides. I tried assembling a 3-tier rack without the wooden sides but i did not fit right.
@AcrossTheMap7 жыл бұрын
Exactly. That's what I figured would be the case. Still a mystery!!
