X is a temp variable inside the loop only. It will go through all of the picture boxes and we can use that temp variable to identify other picture boxes that the blue box will interact with. This way we won't need separate of statements for each one we can do all of the collision detection inside this loop.

how would i make the pic box stop moving when it hits an obj. i tried making its speed negative while intersecting so it would just look like its bouncing back but the problem is that it only reads 1 object not all picture boxes

Hi, I've done tutorial recently randomly spawning in a form and you can click to remove them from it. Tutorial is here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKunfJZ-qcR7o8k. Also I have completed another one where you can move a picture box around with the arrow keys, random objects are spawning in the form, you can collide or collect them. When player collides with other objects, objects are removed. It will be on KZbin in few days.

In what context? If you move the blue PictureBox away from the other ones it will stop the hit test, it will only trigger when the objects are overlapping

@@mooict I think what he means is - he wants the controllable block to stop when it collides with the other one, and then continue to move in the other direction.
