I think the Shifting Seasons expansion for Villagers really added to the replayability and made solo a lot more enjoyable.

It’s my favorite of the three, too!! It goes Moon, Streets, then Villagers for me!! Cannot wait for the playmat 😻 Love Haakon’s designs!!!

Since a game like this only comes out “once in a blue moon”, I figured Luke would be “over the moon” with this game. Apparently not. To be honest, based on the theme….I’m not sure I would love this “to the moon and back”. Maybe if they spiced up the mechanisms and added something like in the card game Hearts where you can pull off something risky like “shoot the moon”. Okay, I’m done.

They also released a Valkyrie expansion that really doesn't do that much but add some new cards for variety and a one time bonus you can take. The inclusion of foil backed cards and a set of normal cards for the expansion I thought was weird. Imagine the small text and icons on a foil based card! I will never use them and stick with the normal cards. Having the hearts and resources with flip values I thought was strange and also makes it more fiddly than it needs to be.

It feels weird to me you didn't like the FOMO mechanic in Streets, that basically makes the game interesting as you have to anticipate their movements
