Moon by Sim Audio 700i v2 Overview

I used to own Moon gear when I was in Canada. It paired well with some Focals. Can’t remember name of the gear now but it was 2012 and I couldn’t afford a 600i or the mood cd in the same level. Definitely the budget level. I had always intended to buy it again when I moved back to Australia but Moon doesn’t have much of a presence where I am. It is interesting that Gryphon was mentioned because I did demo the 300 with some Sabrina X speakers and Linn katalyst dac. It was really good but just didn’t give the emotional response I was after. After listening to the new Linn Organik dac, I knew the dac was the problem. Ended up buying an Essence stereo power amp and I’m very happy. Class A vs AB? I don’t know, but I finally got what I was after. 50W is enough for me. I would have loved to hear your opinion on both because I think they have different personalities. Maybe one day!
