I love how you dived into different categories of the show from the art and animation to its representation of culture and community. The idea of Moon Girl being the "Genius Superhero Girl Next Door" reminds me of Spider-Man being the Friendly Neighborhood hero. While the Avengers do tend to go after the more global threats, it's good to remember that there are street level superheroes who do protect the smaller neighborhoods i.e. Daredevil for Hell's Kitchen, Luke Cage for Harlem (before he became Mayor), Ms Marvel for Jersey, and Iron Fist in Chinatown (I think).
