I'm a total newbie here and a couple minutes in, this is flippin' awesome. I'm glad my circuitous route of clicks following "Hmmm, what's this? Looks interesting." brought me here. I started off watching lespecial do a cover of "Those Damn Blue Collar Tweakers", found some other cool stuff including a band named "Funk N Bowl" in the channel that posted the lespecial video and then a few clicks later, this. A total surprise and so unique and deliciously "weird". Right up my alley! This is getting bookmarked immediately. Woohoo! 😉😁👍

Great to hear the wonderful bass sax playing a star role, and also a new lease of life for the little-used contrabass clarinet in its paperclip configuration. Must take massive stamina to play like this with almost no breaks. Just discovered Moon Hooch and was earlier listening to Too Many Zooz and Lucky Chops. Good to hear these inventive, talented young performers. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but it is certainly different and highly skilled playing. Hard to categorise it really, which is probably a good thing.

So much dancing and sweating and touching with the whole crowd. You blanketed us with your creation and none of us will be the same after experiencing you. P.s. Ethan will always be my husband in my dreams. Forgot to mention we are still clean. Alarm clock was literally my alarm clock for years.

Hey Moon Hooch! I saw y'all at the One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans earlier this year! I love that you guys self record and mix everything. What I'd love to see in the future would be some crowd mics to capture the ambiance and audience. A pair of Rode M5 small diaphragm condenser mics runs $200 for a matched pair and it would make all the difference in your live recordings. Just place one on each side of the stage pointed at the audience! (Just remember to not put those mics into front of house, or you'll have lots of feedback.) They also make excellent additions to your in-ear monitor mixes, so they're not so dry. Having one ear in and one out is actually the quickest way to lose your hearing, because the natural clenching of the ear canal (which helps protect your hearing in loud environments) doesn't happen with the off-balance of soft and loud. Crowd mics can solve this issue.
