Hello friend, I have been asking various astrologers online this question and all avoid the awnsers maybe you can help me and many others, here in USA we experience daylight savings time and all the programs for analyzing charts use this method by default but after thinking I realized that back in the days of the great sages there was no daylight savings time taken into account when accessing a chart. please sir tell me how we should handle such an issue. I don't think the universe considers daylight savings time but no astrologers wish to approach such a topic, please help

i dont see any issue here .. when generating the chart we need time to draw the chart ( obvious ) , if someone was born during DST , just adjust the chart accordingly

+Velmurugan s thank you for your assistance, please excuse my ignorance here, I am attempting to learn jhotish properly here in USA and there is much misleading information about many subjects pertaining to jhotish. So just to be clear if I am born may at 5am according to USA birth certificate I am to just reduce the hour and have it as 4am correct?

you are correct .. ( i think DST will be active from march to September i guess .. ) if someone was born when DST is enabled , then reduce 1 hour when generating the chart .. there are many charts which provides an option to include DST too ..
