Libra - sun Moon - cap Rising - scorpio ☀️☀️☀️ I had a rough upbringing, i had a dissociative disorder and whenever things went rough id just detach myself. This has made me develop issues with my emotional side. These recent years though I've been VERY expressive. If anything feels wrong, gets me annoyed I tell them straight up whats on my mind. I definitely also don't hate on myself anymore, i used to have extremely bad self esteem but now i love myself whole heartedly. I like to achieve stuff, but its okay if i dont. I don't take it to heart. Also my financial situation doesn't stress me much, money is money and it comes and goes. Ive been learning to show affection as well to my friends, since before I was very unaffectionate towards my friends/family. Im also definitely not a pessimist, but an extreme optimist. Moneys cool, but it doesnt matter to me. I am a good leader though.

Half way through the video I felt like I needed to say something here. Capricorn is opposite to Cancer, both are so similar and opposite in all aspects. But one of the things they have in common is that they care for their family, and that's what drives them. Capricorn is the way it is in order to support those Capricorn loves. Even before knowing about my Moon sign in Cap, my main goal in life was simply about my future family, and how I'm gonna achieve this goal of a family. In the head of a Cap moon, we works so hard to improve because we want to be able to have a good family and support them with what's needed. In order to do that, you did to build strong grounds and stability in life. Also, moon in Cap are more emotional than you think. That's a reason why we subconsciously (sometimes consciously) block our feelings and remain cold headed -apart from wanting a clear head to think well.

To add to everyone's insights I also think cap moons feel a lot of emotional responsibility for the ones they care for, be it their family or friends who they make their family. They have most often been delegated responsibility from a young age, and also perhaps felt responsible for others feelings. They are emotionally stoic people and very reliable in supporting the emotional needs of others, and depending on their upbringing, to the detriment of their own. Capricorn is a sign that experiences a lot of fear, and as the word capricious means changing, undetermined they may feel fear towards changes that are beyond their ability to control. Probably why they feel they have to control their feelings, but the more positive resolution is to take control of their emotions, and not let them be dragged or led by fear. The moon is said to be in detriment in Capricorn, which can be due to the repression of emotions as Saturn rules Capricorn, and it is a planet of restrictions, limitations which can be too strict as well, and for the ever changing moon, this restriction or limitation can be experienced as an emotional repression of some kind too. Capricorn moons love to be nurtured and cared for because their opposite sign is Cancer, which is like their goal, is all about nurturing love and care. The moon also being in opposite sign to its home, can also show itself as being emotionally distant or experiencing emotional distance from their mother or family, perhaps at a very young age and therefore they had to mature emotionally before their time, and so they can be sometimes emotionally strong but also inwardly emotional as a child, perhaps because they didn't have the chance or situation to express childhood emotions. Also the moon being opposite side to its home, Capricorn moon people can end up living far away from their family, nationality or country of origin.

Good but this was just the basics. Theres a lot of internal struggles that go on for moon in cap. It's not the best moon placement tho we do tend to keep a cool head in a crisis. I find emotionally as I've got older I feel more detachment but then again my moon doesn't have any planets near by...hence can be a lonely place for me 😓

I’m a Cap moon. The first time I found out about this, I didn’t understand what this meant cause capricorn has nothing to do with emotions. Well, at least that’s their stereotype. Ofc I know they have emotions, they’re just better at suppressing it compared to other signs. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t relate to EVERY quality of this placement. Woah, I'm moon in capricorn too! My twin brother (obvs), my now ex bf, another ex, my other brother and.... probably more people. I noticed how we all seem to repress our emotions, which if people know us more intimately, they come out in bad explosions. Also I get along with other capricorn moons, but end up clashing in weird ways. Considering my sun is leo and moon is capricorn (mercury in leo too and gemini ascendant) Does that make me a good leader? I always end up leading.

I can tell you have a natal Cap Moon, you are very organized. :) Cap natal Sun, Moon and Mercury here. Achieving, building, climbing, security is where its at. We're probably one of the best problem solvers and can create order out of chaos. Interesting, my mother was very sick at a young age and I had to fend for myself, so maturity came very young and missed a real childhood.

I read -this pertains to Ascendent in Capricorn- but the effect could be similar- that some Capricorns rather stoop over as if they are carrying a heavy burden on their backs. The little neighbor boy (7) silently did things for his parents (refugees). I had the feeling they hardly noticed because their problems took up all their time.

Thank you for your insights. The man that I'm dating is an Aquarian with Moon in Capricorn and Mercury in Capricorn. He does tend to carry a lot of the burden for his family, since he is the oldest and he is taking care of his mom since she can no longer work. I understand his sense of detachment and lack of showing emotions when it comes to relationships however when he senses that I am going through something, he picks up on it and inquires which I admire about him. I have my moon in Virgo so I understand him of carrying burdens since I too have felt that since I was a child. My question is how can I make myself useful for him and what can I do to let him feel and know that I care about him. Also how can I assist in letting him open himself to me emotionally.? Thank you!

Alicia Abagat my bf is also an Aquarian with Capricorn Moon. I agree, it seems that he's been carrying a lot of his family's burden on getting them out of poverty. I can also relate to this a lot & understand him completely since I have a Moon-Saturn hard aspect in Virgo which gives me the same emotional attitude as that of a Cap Moon despite having my Moon in otherwise benevolent Sagittarius (which sadly I can't relate at all, it doesn't help that my Moon's depositor, Jupiter, is in retrograde & in its detriment in Virgo so that together with my earthy Saturn (in Virgo too) is a triple whammy!). Ironically we were both the oldest child in the family & had to bear the pressure of being role models to our younger siblings & the responsibility of taking care of them (and in my case, even the house whenever my parents are not around). However having a Cap Moon or Moon-Saturn doesn't always mean that you had a difficult, absent or cold mother. In fact, my bf is very close to his mother. Sometimes it just means that your family is conservative, structured & strict just like mine. Sadly though in a woman's chart, it does affects her reproductive system & I happened to have PCOS & never experienced a regular period in my entire life.

Alicia Abagat As for your concern, just showing your guy how much you admire him by means of acknowledging him whenever he does something good & being there for him are enough. No need to do anything special. Though as a Virgo dominant, I understand you needing to make yourself useful to him as we love to serve people & keep things in order however sometimes we need to laid-back & relax (Piscean qualities that we need to adopt sometimes). Understand that the act of service & doing practical things for our loved ones to be happy are our ways of expressing love & your guy especially having his Moon also in an earth sign completely understands & appreciates it though he may not show it not just because of his Cap Moon but more imptly its his Aquarius sun who is known for being detached & unemotional but in reality they're just not comfortable showing it even to the ones they love.

You are so sweet and caring to want to know how to be a wonderful partner, that in itself is part of it. Cap moon's find it hard to take in nurture and care from others, though they would love it. Like Rux said its like being bottled up. They love loyalty, and support, and that their partner has their back. As Saturn rules Capricorn and rules the skeletal system of our body. They seek emotional stability in a relationship, so it it helps if the partner is able to develop that which will help them to relax and be at ease, because they feel so responsible, having a partner that is emotional responsible and yet nurturing can help to lighten their day. They will always be very close to their mom or at least emotionally, ironically because of the distance of the moon from its home sign Cancer. As a Virgo moon you harmonize with your partner because you are both earth signs, so grounded and responsible too, but not let it be too much and get some cuddle, joy time together either in nature or making the home be very natural in its design with plants and neutral earthy colors with a bit of deeper blue color helps to bring in the water element into the home.

I'm a little bit confuse on moon sign versus the ascendant. It's this, I can't see the lunar qualities of a person but I can see those qualities if it's their ascendant sign. For example my sister has moon in Libra but her ascendant is Capricorn. Though, she might be different inside, that of a Libra, beautiful, fair and balance, she tends to want to give the impression that she is always busy, always wound up. Even on weekends she needs to keep her hands full. It's sometimes annoying. She's a, yes, a workoholic. Always serious faced and inventing plans to do stuff no matter what. My question is should we take the ascendant quality as the more dominant than the lunar quality. In some astrological system, namely Vedic astrology, ascendant sign is given more, if not equal, importance than the moon sign. As for her moon sign I can't see none of the qualities, except when she write or talk in length. Is ascendant more important in judging a personality than her moon sign, because ascendant is the combined total impression of the rest of our unique birth chart?

That's tough, but I would say no, especially if you consider upbringing. A child is completely defined by these core needs. Think of it this way. When I was a child I liked pretty things and barbies and fashion (libra rising), but i was completely deliberate and worked to express those things in myself (capricorn moon). Even though i loved beautiful things and liked to appear nice and helpful it was the successful execution of those things that made me feel fulfilled. I took these things on as my work and my success in them is what really defined them for me. That maybe wouldn't be obvious to someone on the outside, they would just see that I was good at looking nice or fashionable, but my it would be that success mirrored back to me that would fulfill my capricorn moon. The emotions and core needs of an individual is the moon. That doesn't change and will always have far more influence on the personality than the rising if you even just look at basic psychology and human nature. All 3 dominants are significant enough that they should hold equal ground as a baseline and then different parts of the chart as well as transits and too many variables may make one show more than the other. especially because the moon is hidden. both qualities may be more dominant at any given time depending on the native's awareness as well as what is more important/in balance at the time. Someone on the outside could easily say i was more libra than cap, but my experience of my moon is far more brutally consuming than my rising sign based on my perception and experience. Also, you may not be seeing her libra because you have expectations for how that should look. My sister also has a libra moon, but I don't find her "beautiful or balanced" in her emotional nature at all. She's a bit harsh and always needs to be right (lower form of libra), and she is always whining about what is truly fair (things that aren't really objectively fair from everyone else's perspective, but fair based on her own perceptions), and is rather codependent and loves the *idea* and romanticized image of friendship (libra with a smidge of her gemini sun). The things she seeks to nurture herself with (she loves pretty jpop idols and pink and everything sunny and cute) are also very libra, and hates disruption.They're also all a bit shallow from where I stand (Libra is air and if you look at its taurus counterpart, it likes ideals and ideas of beauty, often external, rather than a grounded feeling-oriented beauty). I can tell in her own mind she thinks of herself as fair, well intentioned, really nice in a way that everyone likes, etc, but within our family and from any balanced person's perspective she is a bit volatile, can be hostile, aggressive, insensitive, etc. TLDR; Moon is a person's experience of themselves. Not always well expressed through asc., but can be very visceral for the native. Does not make either one less important, but I would say moon is more dominant because it shapes who you are at your core.

My bf has it & I can also relate to this a lot & understand him completely since I have a ASC-Saturn, Moon-Saturn & Mercury-Saturn hard aspects in Virgo. The Moon-Saturn aspects gives me the same emotional attitude as that of a Cap Moon despite having my Moon in otherwise benevolent Sagittarius (which sadly I can't relate at all, it doesn't help that my Moon's depositor, Jupiter, is in retrograde & in its detriment in Virgo so that together with my earthy Saturn (in Virgo too) is a triple whammy!). Ironically we were both the oldest child in the family & had to bear the pressure of being role models to our younger siblings & the responsibility of taking care of them (and in my case, even the house whenever my parents are not around). However having a Cap Moon or Moon-Saturn doesn't always mean that you had a difficult, absent or cold mother. In fact, my bf is very close to his mother. Sometimes it just means that your family is conservative, structured & strict just like mine. Sadly though in a woman's chart, it does affects her reproductive system & I happened to have PCOS & never experienced a regular period in my entire life :(
