MOON KNIGHT - Action Figure and Comic History!

When I first read Moon Might when he first appeared in ''Werewolf By Knight'', I always wondered what made him so cool maybe his powers which makes sense because his suit does look great while kicking butt in it. Also Moon Knight is my favorite 4th ground superhero after Daredevil, Elektra, and Punisher.

Some people may think that Moon Knight is like Batman but to me, Moon Knight is his own character while being creative with his weapons and and showing style.

It’s a cruel, cruel joke that in 2024 only decent classic 1/12 Moon Knight figure is a Marvel Legends that’s only been retailer exclusive and the only actually good 1/12 Moon Knight figure is one based off a short, mid run (the Amazing Yamaguchi figure).

my man, its so cool that a super hero squad figure came out to be so spot on to the design, i personally am a colector of the line ad i was wondering if you collected these super hero squad figures or is that one of the only ones you have?

I think I have a pretty close to complete collection. They were amongst my kids toys, but when I did a full house cleaning during the early days of the pandemic, I think I managed to get them all back in one place! I’ll do a mystery box/ review of that collection one day - I love those little things!!!

When i first heard of Moon Knight i was Intruiged, it wasn't something that sounded cool, but it was interesting, and i saw that his origin was very unique, getting powers from a god, and slowly reading the comics he quickly became a favorite, and knowing he teams up with my number 1: Spider-Man, he instantly became my number 2. And even inspired me to create a character of my own not with the same backstory/powers but with the same gain of powers, through a god of Egypt.

First time I ever saw Moonknight is the gold edition 1997 figures but I love his design so much I went to research about him and listen to audio books of him. My favorite thing about Moonknight, the only reason why he wears white is to see the blood if it was to spill on his costume, found it to be badass.

Great run - these are the decisions you have to make when editing a video - I could have made this two hours long, I read so many Moon Knight books, but no one is gonna watch that. Always possible to come back and do deep dives into individual runs later

Moon knight wore an all black suit during vengeance of moon knight issue 10. Also, the 2014 run marvel legends figure is getting rereleased

I think the mask itself is actually white, but the classic comic look as drwan by sienkiewicz was always in black shadow, so that is my preferred look for display

I thought so too, initially. But as I did my research for this video (and read A LOT of Moon Knight comics) it does depend on the creative team, but the Batman comparisons are not as strong as you would think, especially once Moench and Sienkevitch got there feet underneath them

DC and Marvel have a history of making knockoff characters of each other's properties, but Moon Knight isn't really one of them.
