21:27 Steven yelling "SIX!" was also really well timed. It was a moment of Steven consciously becoming more like Marc ("if he can do it, that means I can do it too," something like that). Steven showing his preference for cricket is a sign that he still retains his individuality, he doesn't just become Marc.

As an older sibling, the danger and damage of misplaced responsibility onto a minor hit really close to home for me. A child cannot be made responsible for another child. Parents, please, do not do this to your children. They are not the adult, they do not suddenly gain the necessary skills to take care of a child just because you birthed a younger one. It is your child, your job, your responsibility. Your eldest child deserves a childhood.

It makes far more sense for Jake to be the alter who holds onto the abuse. That is typical with DID. When the repeat abuse happens the protector is the one who takes on the pain. It is also why in some cases people with DID don't even remember their abuse. We also see 3 interactions with Dr. Harrow representing 3 different alters.

I think Taweret’s “rustiness” or “inexperience” around judging souls could be because both: it’s been centuries since someone arrived in Duat; AND Anubis, Thoth, & Ammit have been imprisoned leaving Taweret to perform the whole process alone.

It's incredible the amount of care that is going into Marc's DID story. Not only is Steven an alter, but he's what's known as a "fictive" alter. Sometimes when a person or group of alters (known as a "system") needs someone that could handle or survive a certain kind of trauma, they pull inspiration from either someone they know/someone who existed in real life (a "factive") or a fictional character (a "fictive"). In this case, Marc's love for that movie and admiration for the character Steven Grant became manifested as a fictive alter.

I think Jake is a creation of Khonshu. The whole reason why Khonshu was fascinated with Marc was that he noticed the multiple personalities disorder which he planned to use to his advantage. I have seen Jake in all the episodes. When Marc and Steven are deep in trouble there is a third personality that pops up to clean the mess and leaves a pile of dead bodies, even Marc is not that blood thirsty. Jake is Khonshu's creation and the reason why he is not a prevalent personality is because Steven and Marc are the same person, Jake is a failsafe creation of Khonsu. Notice that Jake only appears when Marc and Steven are diverting from Khonsu's plan and neither of the other two personalities know of him yet.

When he is first talking to Dr. Harrow it's someone with a Chicago accent and there is a Cubs poster on his wall. I think Jake was the identity that took the beatings. Also, there was a baseball bat used in the fight on the boat. Also also, there are what look like nunchucks next to Steven when he is cleaning up the markers. Could be why he uses the two sticks as Mr.Knight.

I think Randall being able to move means that his death was not entirely Marc's responsibility. He's just a ghost of a memory that Marc happens to subconsciously place in the same area of memories as these other people. But Randall can move freely out of this room, as we saw, because he was not *killed* by Marc.

the Arabic song at the end translates to "sometimes, sometimes, I love my life and adore living" which probably refers to how Stevens loved his "perfect" life opposite to Marc who was living a hellish life. Or it could reflect their desire to come back to life and save the day.

Steven even ended up showing a flash of overkill with the baseball bat. Very interesting I'm so curious to know how they're going to wrap this up within 45 more min. I fully believe that the reason the hearts didn’t balance until Steven hit the sand wasn’t because it resolved anything emotionally for Marc, but because they were weighing two hearts for three alters. Just a small thought, due to them basing most of the episodes on actual DID, it might be that they might catergorize Marc's alters on common types of alters. I'm not sure the exact names because of I'm taking examples from Anthony Padilla's video. I just note that Jake could be the protector, Steven is the one who lives normally, and Marc is the emotional trauma. Idk im spitballing here
