The only thing that really bothered me was the mask not being the same shade of white as the rest of the figure. Other than that everything looks pretty alright. Hopefully Hot Toys will blow this away with their own version soon. P.S. The moon sticks are usually called billy clubs lol

Agree about weak light up. It bothered me enough that I spent 2 plus hours removing plastic from inside the head with drill bits, 1/4”-3/8” very slowly. It lit up better but also light was coming through entire head. I then painted inside all black minus the back of eyes. A lot of extra work but much happier. Great poses Justin.

Titanium white acrylic paint sorts out the shade of the mask and brings it very very close to the colour of the gloves. This and your previous review of the HT Moon Knight completely persuaded me in acquiring the pair.

I like soo soo but as all companies do they have their flaws, being a 3rd party company means qc is not amazing but they’re still a good company making figures most other 1st party companies wont make and that’s what I appreciate from them, and Justin i always appreciate your honesty when reviewing and not just saying “oo great figure buy it” you say what you personally don’t like and it is all up to personal preference after all

You can get some neck extenders at OSK, the truth is they are quite useful, since sometimes the necks on the sculpted ones are slightly short, I have not seen the adjustable connector on the neck of commercial bodies, only on some figures

​@JustinsCollection i know its been a month but i found out why! I tried putting the headsculpt onto the Mr Knight figure (i always had it on Moon Knight) and its super loose because the head's hole for the peg is too short! Which is why it doesnt look short on the moon knight.

Some small issues, mostly that the jacket and shirt are hard to change (but that might just be me), and leds being weak, but this is definitely the best Mr Knight we've gotten yeah? Unless HT makes one which I'm unsure of since they're slowing down on Marvel atm.

Hey, so I don’t know why SooSoo did this but the background seems to be from the comic run by Jeff Lemire which the the show is loosely based on. It’s the part of the book where mark escapes from the asylum and realizes that the city he’s in has been taken over by Ammit and that sand is flooding the city. Again don’t know why they decided to have that as their background art. Hopes this clears it up! Love the videos!

Man I've never seen so much attitude from you on a review. I will agree that some parts that were super weird especially the fact that they made the suit out of the same material as your run-of-the-mill Spider-Man figure when they could have actually made a fabric suit. Also it would have been cool in your video to see how to install the battery, since no instructions actually came with this guy and you don't really know what model of battery to get. It's weird that they wouldn't include instructions and just assume that everybody knows how this works. I still have the figure and I really like it with my hot toys Moon Knight but they have us a little over the barrel on this since there's no other alternative.

The immediate thought that came to mind was maybe he was salty about not getting a free review sample of the figure like SooSoo has done with him in the past where they send him one. Either way valid points were made in the review just kind of glaring the swipes that were being taken.

Nope not the case at all, I always call out things I don’t like and with the extended wait with this guy, he just didn’t meet expectations. It doesn’t benefit me in any way to say negative things about a figure if they don’t align with my true opinion. I stick by everything I said in the review, they made some extremely strange choices.

@TheBroverman oh, I didn’t intend for it to come across as attitude, I was just pointing out the stuff that I didn’t like about this figure and the way soosoo has been doing things with their recent releases. I always like to add in some anecdotes whenever possible. Like I said at the end of the video it’s still the best 1/6 scale Mr Knight but there’s things that leave me scratching my head. The battery being one of them. Although once you take the head off, I showed the light core thingo, slide that out and on the back the battery info is printed right below the bracket for it. So you can see which battery to get from there. I also showed the magnet function. It’s always a balance between a review and a tutorial, I felt I showed enough, I apologise if not!

Thanks for the extra battery installation info in the comment. I had no idea you could slide that out. What do you think is causing Soosoo's "Downward Spiral?" Maybe you have extra info since you gave them "Gentlemoon." Great name, by the way. Also, I should note that my masked headsculpt didn't come out as dark as yours so there's factory inconsistency there.

This seems like quite a brutal review from you, the sticker and base seem unneeded, the figure overall is good, proportions to me make sense seeing as he doesn’t have the armour mark has, is it perfect, of course not. But considering some of the figures 3rd party’s have done, this is one of the better ones.

That’s ok! It’s just my opinion on the figure after all that’s what a review is, we don’t need to agree. The figure was just not as good as I was hoping, I’ve seen soosoo do better. For what it’s worth I did say it’s the best 1/6 scale Mr Knight. I stick by my review.

Justin, love the videos man. I do, however, think you’re coming after SooSoo a little harshly recently for some reason. It stuck out to me with the display base on this video. You’ve been talking about this base for a few years as “the typical SooSoo Toys base,” and even complimented it a few times. In this one, you chose to hone in on the fact that it’s a “stolen” mold. Idk, feels like you have a beef with SooSoo for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not at all! If I had any real beef with them I'd just not review their products, I'm not obliged to film anything. The reason I mentioned it now is because I just now found out that it was a recast, crazy as I've had sideshow figures for years but yeah... For what it's worth they have let me down recently in terms of quality and box art etc. This figure had far too many issues for a company as established as they are.
