I actually had the chance to meet Neil Armstrong and shake his hand while he was leaving the Sydney Convention Center in August 2011. At the Sydney event there were some 800 people who all witnessed some never before seen footage taken from the LEM as it descended onto the lunar surface, side by side with some images taken from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter recently from the same altitude and direction as the LEM co-ordinates in 1969. The craters in both images match exactly. This could only be possible if the LEM actually landed on the moon in 1969. Most of those who say it was a hoax never took an interest in the landings during the time from 1969 to 1972. Be careful what you believe, there are people out there determined to convince the world that it was a hoax, and in so doing ridicule the hard work of over 400,000 scientists and engineers who worked around the clock for 11 years to make it happen. One of the greatest tragedies is that some people will die never knowing the truth of what happened. We have to go back to the moon to prove once again that it can be done, whether by NASA or via commercial enterprises. For those who doubt that Neil Armstrong was one of the greatest heroes of modern history, they should pick up a copy of the excellent book, "Neil Armstrong - A Life Of Flight" by Jay Barbree, NBC News space correspondent and a legend in his own right.

how much cheaper than a big mars rover it would be to send a little robot to crawl around an Apollo site and do the archaeology. But it's unnecessary. Even a modest little budget would be a waste of money. The heat in low earth orbit is oppressive. This is a fact we gleaned from the Skylab mission and leonov's spacewalk before that. The heat is almost unbearable. Apollo said that it cooled off once clear of earth, like earth was the source of the heat. We bought it, and many still believe it today, all though most never think about it like that. NASA manages the public image. The ISS, for example, can't keep fresh fruit, and the top notch scientists like Scot, can't understand why that is. It's because of the heat, Scot! NASA can you feel the burn. Your hoax is toast, the cat is out of the bag and scratching at your crew's eyeballs. Music Now Except it isn't and if you knew anything about the Apollo program itself you'd know there are literal mountains of evidence to prove it happened. If you knew anything about film and media you'd also know the technology to fake the moon didn't exist and even if it did it would have cost MORE than to actually go to the moon. There are precisely placed retroreflectors on the moon that astronauts put there to bounce back high powered lasers. Thousands of people WATCHED the rockets take off and leave the atmosphere. The Soviets began tracking the rocket the second it did. If we faked it why did a modern Japanese probe take pictures of the lunar landing module THAT'S STILL ON THE MOON. If we faked why didn't the Soviets call bullshit and why did they congratulate NASA?

19Luke89 --- Can you make a video proving that WWII actually occurred? After all, I have only ever seen some grainy photos, some suspect video and some doubtful eyewitness testimony. All of the buildings and cities that were destroyed could have been controlled demolitions by greedy building contractors and brick manufacturers. After you prove WWII actually happened, I want you to prove that Finland exists. Sure there are people purporting to be from Finland who talk funny, but just seeing the outline of some spot on a globe or a map proves nothing to me. Now do you understand how stupid your comment is?

Nobody can because NASA covered their tracks and "lost" the original footage. But the "live" footage from TV that some people recorded is a clear hoax.. the delays from the radio transmissions when the astronauts speak to the base on Earth are 1 second which means that if they were on the Moon they managed to break the light speed limit by 2x.

LindaStevensBZ - Nice straw man argument. WWII occurred as my great grandfather died fighting it. If you don't think it did occur then you must be the only one... That's your problem. There are thousands of people that don't believe the moon landing happened based on the lack of factual evidence and flat out lies coming out of NASA. I've been to all the Scandinavian countries. Straw man! Now, provide 100% proof that the moon landing happened? Not just hearsay like this video is.

Let's clarify what happened. It was the aliens that intended to land on the moon but couldn't figure out how to do it so they landed on Earth instead. Since this was going to be a major public relations disaster for the aliens back on their home planet, NASA and the aliens combined their resources to produce very convincing fake moon landing videos.

Well, I know that I've flown solo in an aircraft and I have the evidence - a log book signed by my instructor and me. Oh but that of course wouldn't prove anything the log book could be faked! If you look at the Apollo 17 description of the crater by Jack Schmitt, (a geologist,) and Cernan, we see Schmitt describes oxidized glass, orange-colored rocks, similar to desert sand, around the crater rim. This material was in a circumferential line around the rim of the crater. Schmitt described how this crater, that is thought to be younger than the line of material on the crater rim, had rocks around it that are thought to have been created by fire-mountain-like-volcanic process that was much older than the crater. It seems he couldn't quite explain how it got there. If they were faking the lunar landings, then why not described something that geologists of the time thought to be true rather than describing what could only have been caused if this were an electrical discharge crater, as we now know?

The true evidence of the moon landing’s terrestrial origins is in the filmmaking craft itself: The same cinematic techniques that we deployed to create the desert backgrounds in 2001, we used again for Apollo. Today, Hollywood uses green screens and CGI for special effects, but all we had in the 1960s was “front screen projection,” a technique that allows scenes to be projected behind the actors onto a Scotchlite screen so it appears as if they are moving around inside the backdrop provided by the projection. It’s clever, but it’s not rocket science. One of the telltale signs of front screen projection is that there is inevitably a break line between the back of the set you are filming on and the screen itself. If you examine the Apollo photographs closely, you will see a slight difference in the granularity of the landscape on either side of this break line between set and screen. I won’t go into the details further here. As they say nowadays, you can Google it. It’s all there.

It is not possible to go to the moon they way we have been told. Thrust rockets cannot provide push in a vacuum. The (often creepy) Mythbusters TV show attempted to debunk the fact that rockets allegedly cannot provide thrust in a vacuum. However, the fatal flaw in their TV experiment was their failure to factor-in a little thing called ‘The Coefficient of Friction’. The sealed Perspex vacuum chamber they used was all well and good. However, their experimental vehicle was in contact with a surface/datum/floor. Therefore, G gave their vehicle a degree of traction along the plane of travel without requiring the additional counter F of air/atmospheric pressure. I would have liked to have seen a freely suspended object in the vacuum. Assuming we can leave Earth’s G, I would concede that it is quite possible to fly to the moon, orbit it just the once and return to Earth. Or (and this is me really stretching it) land on the lunar surface without return. To wit, the idea that we sent astronauts to the moon six times and returned them each time is absurd. It’s a pure vacuum - where’s your thrust? (Stick your ‘displacement’ arguments). Plus, in respect of 1960s technology, that’s like me inventing the washing machine and then after less than three years I say, ‘We have no further need of washing machines - plus, the technology I used to create them now no longer exists!’ - What would you say to that? But that is what everyone accepts thanks to controlled media and the ‘institutional’ interests that surround Apollo. Reflectors were allegedly placed on the lunar surface six-months before the so-called NASA Moon Landings by our Russian cousins. Plus, can they actually work considering the beam width and strength at a quarter of a million miles? Telemetry can easily be faked. In fact, it often is! There is no reason to say that they didn’t have the necessary lunar telemetry in place long before launch. The Lunar Reconnaissance Obiter (LRO) provides only composites. The fake Earthrise photograph is an amazing case in point. That said, as Columbo would say - ‘I just don’t believe it!’

The onus is on the claimant of extraordinary achievements to prove their claims as per the scientific method . Unfortunately for NASA , having deliberately destroyed /lost the original bps, telemetry data and original footage , this is impossible for them to do . The only way to *prove* we actually landed on the moon in 1969 is to repeat it and not lose/destroy all the equipment/data/footage used this time.
@bigbud7060
@bigbud7060 7 жыл бұрын
Matt; ''If we go again we just prove it is possible. Not that it happened before.'' Yes, if you decide not to land at one of the Apollo sites , which would prove beyond doubt whether we had or not. Without the missing original footage, blueprints of the equipment used , independent testing of the equipment used etc , all we have is evidence in support of the claim , rather than proof of landing on the moon . The faking of photography , loss of original footage/data/tech etc also is only evidence in support of the claim that the moon landings were a hoax , rather than proof. if there were a way of proving 100% that we landed on the moon without the original tech etc , then i'm sure someone woulda thought of it by now and we wouldnt be commenting on youtube about it :)

We did land on the moon. But you are off on #5. Retro-reflectors do not "condense" the light. And the Russians sent 2 retroreflector on probes. You even show their locations at 1:26 L1 and L2 are Lunokhod 1 and 2.. And both Russian and the USA bounced lasers off the moon in the 1950s before any retro reflectors were there. You don't need the reflector it just makes for a more accurate way to find the range. And last it takes about $1 million dollars of laser and telescope/detector to use the retro reflectors, something really only done by Scientists. thumbs up for the Aldrin/Sibrel punch. I would add that the photos taken from the orbiters on Apollo missions including on the far side all match with Russian and recent Chinese photos. (and the countries) Then far side of the moon can't be seen from Earth or Earth orbit so

Reason one flaw: If the moon can't reflect a laser light, how does it reflect the sun?
@texmex9721
@texmex9721 6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. NASA and Russia bounced lasers off the moon long before Apollo. And Russia has 2 up there on the backs of rovers that actually moved. The retroreflectors play an important part though. They are required for precision. As the moon is not flat, bouncing a laser off a mountain range or crater will return a distance that changes. The retroreflector returns from a consistent distance, so the moon's distance cane be measured to within a cm. But keep in mind, this is a youtube video some guy made at home. It's OK that he messed up a little. happens to the best of us.

The reflection would be dissipated due to the irregular grains and rocks on the moons surface. Point a laser on a sandy beach at night and you’ll get the picture. It requires a very smooth reflector at the correct angle to get the reflection to return to earth as a point source. Strange that all the engineering records have been lost though.....

That is because the 5 wat laser you are pointing at the moon from your hand is only 3-5w and the sun is blasting millions of nits worth of light at the moon. Not only that but the laser in your hand is not focused nor can penetrate the atmosphere. NASA does not use traditional lasers but rather IR, UV, or co2 lasers that can shine past the atmosphere, however, are not in the visible spectrum of light to humans.

I was buying a lot (not everything) of what this guy was saying, but then, at nº1, he comes with an argument (which NASA itself has used) so obviously, almost childishly falacious that IMO totally destroys your credibility. And that's the 400.000 people would have to keep a lie argument. Let's see, some people in mission control have admitted they couldn't tell apart a simulation from an actual moon mission, this means, some, probably many people in mission control could have been fooled. And you and NASA want us to believe that from the lady that sowed the austronauts' snoopy hats to the guy who made the nuts and bolts in a factory in Seattle, they would all have to be "in on the plot". IMO If you present credible arguments you're credible, if you present a ridiculously falacious argument, and then make it your nº1 argument, your credibility goes out the window,. Just like coronel Russell Williams'. *for those who don't know Russell Williams, he was a very credible air base commander in Canada, until the evidence took that credibility away. I'm not saying the moon landings are fake nor am I saying they're real. So far, I'm a bit on the fence, there's good arguments in either side. What I'm saying is - if you present falacious arguments as being your nº1 argument, you're not doing yourself or your credibility any good.

Also you're right, thousands of people wouldn't have to be in on the hoax but hundreds at least would and there have been no credible whistlblowers in 47 years and this would have been the juiciest secret in world history. I havent looked into the watergate scandal. But goverment have their narative which they propogate through media sources to implement what they want. People decide based on only the data available on news channels. Which leads very little room for an alternate explaination. Unless they investigate on their own which is too much effort and risky. Politicians of all countries control media sources, so there is no point in giving proof. They have means to tackle whistleblowers, by ridiculing, threatening , corrupting and killing. If you look at Neil Armstrong's first interview after comes back he looks so scared. As if his life is in danger. Nobody comes out because it is a threat for them.

It comes down to this: 1. Between December of 1968, and December of 1972, 25 American men traveled to the moon and back, with 12 walking on its surface, and 3 making the trip twice. All of them had more courage, brains, and skill than most of us can ever hope to have. 2. They were backed up by thousands of men and women, working tirelessly, and knowing that a even a minor mistake could end a mission, or cost a life. 3. if you were, like I was, alive at that time, you remember the powerful sense of national pride, and unity during a time of great national division that the Apollo missions gave us, as well as how they exited and inspired the whole world. 4. All but one of the Apollo astronauts was an officer in the U. S. military. Yes, military officers are duty bound to follow orders. But, they are also honor bound not to follow illegal orders, and none of them would have willingly participated in such a monstrous crime of fraud upon the American people.

Yup, the same old tired claim that the deadly Van Allen belts meant that the Apollo astronauts couldn't survive the trip to the Moon. It is bullshit. There is even a very good video here on KZbin which explains why the radiation of the Van Allen belts was very little danger to the astronauts. For one thing, their trajectories to the Moon flew outside of the strongest areas of radiation and the nature of the radiation and its potential harm to humans has been exaggerated in order to bolster the arguments of IDIOTS who say we didn't go there. Type in "Van Allen belts Apollo missions" and look for a video that is 6 minutes and 35 seconds and get the truth. We did go send men to the Moon - 6 times.

Sorry. All they were tracking was an empty capsule attached to a lem directed by remote control. Once the astronauts achieved LEO they got the lem out of the cargo bay, docked to a capsule already in orbit, went around the earth for 7 days only to splash down to a hero's welcome. Why do you really think the lem has 2 airlocks installed for? I rest my case!

I've heard many moonlanding believers stating that the course Apollo missions took avoided the belts, if this is in fact the case, then why the current concern about the belts if you can simply avoid passing thru em ?

Wayne Fredricson NASA quotes that the radiation would be about 2,500 REM (a measure of radiation) per year for an astronaut traveling through with almost no shielding. Considering how quickly the astronauts passed through the belts, they only would have experienced 0.05 REM during the round trip. Even assuming levels as high as 2 REMs, the rate at which their bodies could have absorbed the radiation still would have been within safe levels.

Not a very strong presentation. Tatata-taaa. (1) The organization was highly 'compartmentalized', provided a small number of people with crucial knowledge. (2) The rocks the US Ambassador has given to the Dutch Rijksmuseum (a State museum in Amsterdam) have turned out to be petrified wood. (3) Wheel tracks on the surface don't testify to manned missions. (4) The origin of the intercepted radiocommunications is completely unverifiable. (5) Retroreflectors typically require NO calibration (hence no men on the moon) because they reflect the light back to the light source regardless of the angle of incidence of incident light, just drop them in quantity (or as a thin foil matrix sheet material) on the moon and they work. (6) Pseudo Science, deceptive strategy and logical fallacies (like these) exploit the ignorant mind but they do not improve the image of Nasa. Instead it adds more skepticism. Appearing right is expert professor Michio Kaku who will take a weak argument against Nasa as an example of all arguments against Nasa, and then confidently destroys that argument. For real science (with a zest for fact finding) search Richard Feynmann 2 minute clip explain the essence of _scientific law_. Feynmann was asked to research the space shuttle disaster. Where I work we employed a 35 year old man who, I discovered, believed the moon landings were a huge hoax. At first I was kind of upset by that, but then I realized, "Well, that`s what he believes; he cannot be shaken from it; I might as well have some fun and toy with him over it." I did and it was great fun! It really was. He didn`t stay with us for long, so for his parting gift--while my wife and i were on vacation in Florida--at the Orlando Airport NASA store I bought something to remember me by. I wrapped it and presented it. He opened it and found......an Apollo capsule Christmas tree ornament with Santa and Rudolf peering through its open hatch. John laughed and laughed for 10 minutes. He said he almost had a heart attack from laughing so hard as he saw three myths in one. I also have a sister-in-law near the same age who believes likewise, much to her husband`s surprise.

Lack of motiv? They earned a shitload of money, wrote "History" and living that lie today. I came over a clip where NASA themselves said they're working on a "Ship" or something that can fly pass the radioactive belt they talk about(Wich is impossible to get through). Totally forgot they did that over 40 years ago..
@willoughbykrenzteinburg
@willoughbykrenzteinburg 6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, God forbid they test a brand new spacecraft before putting humans on it. Airbus and Boeing also extensively test their new aircraft to make sure they fly safely before allowing the general public on them. I suppose using your logic, this means that when a new airplane gets produced, you have to assume that all the airplanes that came before it were fake, right? I mean, that's the exact same logic, so obviously you do this, right? The "ship" you are talking about it Orion, and Orion is going to Mars; not the moon. From a radiation standpoint, it's a different beast, and NASA had reason to be concerned about the VAB - mainly because Orion will be on an escape trajectory through it - rather than a translunar trajectory. This will take it through a much more intense region of the VAB - and they will also be making numerous passes through the VAB. And NASA never claimed they couldn't do it, and in fact they did do it. They have since tested Orion in the VAB and it passed all tests. Also, the concern was more for the instruments on board, and indirectly for the humans on board. The instrumentation (electronics) are much smaller than the Apollo electronic components were due to the advancement in technology and one drawback is that this makes them far more sensitive to radiation. The systems' response to radiation is what really concerned NASA - being more sensitive to it and traveling a more intense region of the VAB than ever before. The concern for the humans is that they need the systems to survive the radiation - ya dig? Moot point, because they did. The astronauts did not make anything any normal person would consider "a shitload of money". They were paid as test pilots. Middle class Americans. If NASA gave them a shitload of money, none of them spent any of it.
@kristofferkiff
@kristofferkiff 6 жыл бұрын
My point was that they were talking about making something that could pass the radiation like they have never dine it before. I was not talking about the money spesific going to the astronauts, but everything NASA got out from it
@willoughbykrenzteinburg
@willoughbykrenzteinburg 6 жыл бұрын
kristoffer jensen They hadn't done it before with that spacecraft through those regions with those systems. By the way, they also haven't put ANY humans through the VAB before since the people who worked for NASA during the Apollo era are long retired or dead now. Also, it's not NASA that did it back then; it was the companies they hired to do it - and those companies they are using for Orion are different as well either out of circumstance or the fact that those companies don't exist anymore. You are talking about an entirely different group of people from the ground up; an entirely different generation working with entirely different systems on an entirely different spacecraft which will traverse an entirely different region of space, so if you think they are acting like they've never done it before, it's because they haven't. This isn't front page news. They haven't done it before. And again, the point is moot since Orion has since been tested and succeeded in those tests as expected. It's a concern, and it should be. It's not an insurmountable obstacle. They landed on the moon.

I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theories, but I found two inaccuracies in the video: the Very Large Telescope is in Chile, not Cuba. And one site of a Soviet Lunakhod retroreflector array is shown in a photo, but it is not mentioned. This array was deployed without on-site human attention. So the claim that adjustment and claibration by humans on the moon was necessary applies to the US retroreflector arrays, not to the Soviet one.

True. However, the return signal was very weak because the reflections off the random lunar surface would scatter the light in all different directions and only a tiny percentage of that reflected light would be directed toward Earth. The reflectors left on the moon were designed to reflect any incoming light directly back to the source, so the return signal was just about as strong as the signal sent - when they aim it at where the reflectors are supposed to be. There are definitely reflectors on the moon. This is not a debatable fact.
