We did a Terraria block randomizer over a year ago, and I've been getting a lot of requests to do another one, so let's do it. This time I'll be randomizing the blocks again after each boss, so this one will be very diverse. This is the final episode of a three part series, thanks for watching!

I think a "melting world" might be interesting: a world where for each boss (or other milestone) a block type gets turned into lava. That means you would have to make sure that you keep blocks to make the necessary biomes. Or, something else that might be interesting, a skyblock world where you copy over a part of the world (as in chunks or block types) for each boss (or every two bosses since idk how hard it would be to copy over certain block types)

Great as always! I have a challenge that will sound absurd: the whole world is echo blocks. I feel like it would be very fun and entertaining with new strategies required for exploring… EDIT: another option could be that a random chunk or biome of the world could be removed after each boss (progression bosses only)

New run idea: every boss you increase the difficulty slider and the spawn rate? Just take every boss you intend on doing, combine the numbers, and then convert it into a percentage. Then just increase the difficulty and spawn rate accordingly. A normal run at the beginning but by the end your facing off against master mode pillars and moonlord. Your also allowed to go back and re kill a previous boss to collect expert drops. You just can’t get them until you reach expert.

The randomized biomes worked really well, especially with your music choices. When you went through the jungle and you were just watching the water fall after the last of the blocks had disappeared... I felt something. It was very beautiful and very sad. I think there could be a very dramatic, Lore-filled mod that takes elements of this playthrough but changes blocks intentionally. The best Terraria work i've seen in a while.

I’ve been a fan of your content for a while here, from the Breath of the Wild stuff to Stardew Valley, and, of course, Terraria. I actually tend to watch your stuff on games I have never played (e.g. Subnautica/Stardew) because I enjoy the way you cover them, and the fun twists you add to your runs. They always add a bit of fun to my day, even if that day happens to be a bit of a drag. So, please do continue to do what you love, whether it be this content or any other games you want to show off! It is absolutely appreciated. :> Frankly, I would have wrote a comment like this on one of your videos sooner, but I am really not much of a commenting person myself. However… your usage of “Lost Painting” from Symphony of the Night, one of my favorite games, pushed me to do it. You can’t just use one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games and expect me to sit back and say nothing! The whole ocean thing made me think of how interesting a playthrough where "all standard blocks" (dirt, stone, grass, ice, etc) would be bubble blocks, causing you to have to jump from chunk to chunk and bridging everywhere. I'm not sure it would be particularly challenging but probably fun nonetheless. And a no wings limitation might make things more interesting.

Nice video, i really liked it, i don't know why i find it relaxing to see the world shapeshift after each boss. anyways i had a weird Terraria challenge... remember the vertical world? how about you do the same but horizontally, it's a flat and wide world with all the biomes and stuff necessary, if that idea does not work for whatever reason, i have a secondary idea which i will call "Layered World", in which the world is separated by layers depending the biome, the layer is flat and wide, and very little vertical, vertical enough for stuff to work, sounds fun for me, a Layered Cake world... i hope you read this idea and like it. anyways good work as always :)

I've checked out many of your playlists about entertaining Terraria playthroughs. The limited and surreal runs like "prototypical weapon class", minimal width world and skyblocks appear *way* more grindy/painful yet also fascinating to watch and even try myself... compared to just bypassing half of the game/game's challenge with randomly generated cash money blocks, that look fancy but don't significantly change the base game playthrough. Long story short, it's fun to watch you do different stuff when adapting to different worlds instead of grabbing THE SAME 6 items (WoS, Sunfury, Space Gun. Deadalus Stormbow, Repeater and Lunar Dragon) again and again and again.^^

Challenge: A small world divided into 8 vertical sections each is 525 tiles wide starting from the right and going left : Normal forest > Crimson > Tundra > Desert > corruption > Jungle > Jungle Temple > The Dungen. Build a border between them and once you cross a border you are not allowed to go back, the Tundra is the only section that has hell (the others will be filled with lava) so you will have to fight WoF there, the Desert section should contain a lot of caves to mine for hard mode ores, the corruption will be your last chance to get mechanical summons, ammo or anything else you want, you are allowed to Tedit the celestial pillars, or go back to other sections only to beat the pillars. You might want to add specific effects to every section like it's always raining in the tundra, always night in the corruption or 4x spawn rate in the desert :) I hope I didn't miss any crucial requirement to beat the game.

the first time i played through terraria, wall of flesh took forever, but i eventually killed it with the minishark and night's edge. Then, harmode destroyed me due to me not finding any hardmode ores, my hellevator being in a desert biome, so desert elementals would wreck me, and pirates spawned first thing, dropped nothing, and i had to fight all of them from in my house, with a STARFURY. I eventually got a mechanical skull and a mechanical worm from random drops, which is probably because i am actually pretty lucky, but the hardmode ores just were not spawning somehow. I died to skeletron prime. I died to destroyer. then after some prep, i beat all of them, and got stuck finding the bulb. once I beat Plantera, though, it just got really easy. At least, until the solar pillar.

I have a few ideas if you’re interested, not sure if they’d be good or not. - You could make it so that every time you kill a boss, the world loses blocks. Not exactly shrinking, more like the caves and holes get bigger and bigger until the world is air - The above, but instead of getting rid of blocks, you add them, so there is less air each time until the whole world is blocks - Another randomizer, but it’s just the walls. Or randomize both the blocks and walls. - If possible, you could flip a world on its side and do a sideways playthrough. Or, if it’ll work, an upside-down playthrough, where you’re either in reversed gravity the whole time or the world is just flipped so that the underworld is now in the sky, and the sky in the underworld, etc - A playthrough that could randomize a permanent buff, debuff, both, multiple, etc, either every time you kill a boss or after a certain amount of time (example: after you kill eoc, your effects are randomly “Happy!, Cozy, Poisoned, Blind, Swiftness” or something like that - Throwing class playthrough pog? - Some silly goals like “craft every furniture” or “get every accessory” or “make every armor set” or something - Similar to the block randomizer, but instead of the blocks themselves being randomized, their textures are. I don’t know if you can edit textures but it might be possible to do it if you find enough different types of paint that’ll significantly alter the look? - A playthrough where your character is invisible? - Similar to the previous one, but instead of just being invisible, you can’t see the inner 3rd of your screen ir something (so you’d only be able to see the outer edges of the screen… like wearing glasses) - After every boss, you lose some sort of other feature that isn’t blocks (i.e, you could lose 1 heart permanently after every boss, lose 1 inventory slot, lose 1 accessory/armor/equipment slot, like that) - A more blessed and easy-going playthrough where you play normal mode but the bosses drop treasure bags - A playthrough where there’s a rule that every time you come across a new accessory, you have to get rid of an existing one (even if you didn’t want it: if you have hermes boots and you come across an aglet you gotta replace em) or some other variant of this idea where if you come across something you HAVE to use it That’s all the ideas I have, dunno if they’ll be of any use or not, but in the meantime while you brainstorm I can’t wait to see how the other game playthroughs go!!! Especially the Subnautica one, and I can’t wait for the Stardew Finale!! I hope they both do super well :D

This series was very interesting because the grind was way different and a lot of shenanigans happened. I’m glad you went and explored the world because it was interesting to see what happened to the world and what changed to what. Also, I’m pretty sure New Super Mario Bros was one of the first games I played too. Maybe after Donkey Kong Country.

I had this very epic idea in mind Terraria but every 30 minutes a random guy enters your world and tries to kill you. They have up to 5 or 10 minutes (you choose) to try and kill you >they can use any weapom they want unless it pierces (so no zenith, vile crystal ect.) >they can bring anything as weaponry, even traps or boulders >if they kill you or you survive, nothing happens >if you are able to kill them however, using anything even traps, you get to give yourself any item, weapon or crafting station (of course you aren't allowed to give yourself something hardmode if you are in pre hardmode) We could also make it so that the more bosses you kill, the more hunters can get in your world. And that numbers resests when you kill WoF. I still have to figure out how to "choose" the hunters, so once i do I'll edit my comment or smth

Terraria, But the world is flooded (Water, not Lava) And underworld is Honey also, letting you know, in Tedit, you can brush over other liquids, no need to fill each cave individually with a bucket, and if you click, and then shift-click somewhere else, it paints a straight line between those 2 points

Perhaps a playthrough where the world is permanently flipped upside down, or rotated 90 degrees. Or make it rotate 90 degrees after each boss. Probably not possible to make such a world but it would be very interesting imo.

You should try a challenge (if you haven't done before) where all enemies (and bosses, just for fun) can drop anything (and I mean ANYTHING) so you could get a terraprisma from a blue slime or a zenith from a skeleton.

what about a playthrough in which every biome is randomized (for example, you change every snow block into sand and every ice block into sandstone, so biomes are the same except for the terrain generation) and every boss spawner spawns a random boss (so the suspicious eye is able to spawn golem). every boss killed, a random biome (only one) will be randomized like in this video. and every boss killed, one piece of your equipment, weapons or accesories will be rerolled randomly. i call this the "Slow Shuffle" (i know this might be a little hard to do but i like the idea)

I was gonna suggest a no crafting playthrough (you essentially have to gather everything you need from the world itself, rather than crafting) but then i saw that last comment about limiting existing aspects of the game not being as fun as other challenge runs. Either way, I'll throw the idea out there for you to check out if you feel like it :) I'm currently doing a run myself and it's been pretty fun. It's possible to at the very least defeat WoF but hardmode might be a bit tougher, considering ores are basically useless. anyways amazing video as always :)) thanks for all the content and keep up the good work!

i honestly got so excited when i saw this in my feed. it was a great run honestly seeing how you adapted to each change. perhaps next you could do an item randomizer of some kind? like it randomizes your gear or randomizes the loot tables of stuff

Nice job! I have a challenge idea for you: A pickaxe-only playthrough, which sounds like a pain, and it probably is, but extra rules might be: Using a summon weapon is allowed, only one slot though and no buffs for it except potions Bombs are allowed, an optional rule tho The run can be done on Journey, but only using it to get infinite wood (if you decide to do no bombs)

Duude new smb and phantom hourglass were the first two I had aswell! I could never beat the PH for a while since I couldn't read and got stuck on the pyramid island with the riddle of where to dig XD don't think I ever managed to get all the spirit gems though, could never find the last blue one I wondered for years about how to reach the cloud world and some of the cannons but eventually found them all through sheer dumb luck and playing it for hours on end. The sheer dumbfoundedness I felt when I finally got to world 7 was incredible. Such great times

If you want a run idea how about a fully corrupt/crimson world ? It's a run I did myself and I found it pretty fun especialy the start of it. The version of it I played also saved the Jungle to make the progression more possible and put a bit of Hollow around it to make sure it doesn't get corrupted too easily

I have an interesting idea for a playthrough: you may only use consumables! Use means that you can still equip things as normal. This makes for some interesting strategies, like needing bombs to mine (in hardmode fishing) and needing to summon the Wall of Flesh without picking up the voodoo doll!

Best idea I have for something interesting would be a world flooded with water, since accessories like the flippers would become much more useful. since there's no accessory that grants unlimited breath underwater it could also be interesting for bosses. the only potential downside is the underworld would boil away all the water in it, so WOF would be relatively normal.
