Today I made pumpkin cookies with cream cheese filling! First time trying to add the filling as well as making my own pumpkin puree with pumpkins from the farmers market, but they turned out so yummy!

after wayner mentioning about how our "days of the week suck," im going to explain what the days of the week in english actually mean and why they are so fucked up to spell. The french fucked them up after the battle of hastings by spelling them with french pronunciation. the names are norse gods and is the same in norewegian, swedish, and danish (being the names of norse gods minus saturday, where it's different because of rome). sunday is sunna's day monday is mani's day tuesday is tyr's day wednesday is woden's day thursday is thor's day friday is frigg's day (g used to be pronounced like y before the french. that's why it's dag in all other germanic languages but day in english along with norway used to be spelled norweg and that's how we have norwegian). saturday is saturn's day (It's a hold over from when the roman's occupied southern england). i think a god beats coin, but tear day sounds like tyr's day so if it isn't tuesday then im mad
