Again, Moon is selling himself way short on his childcare abilities. His breakdown was sad, but i am glad Sun immediately tried to comfort him and took steps to ensure his safety--like removing the bottles from his vicinity--and then tried to give him healthier distractions. And i am glad Moon immediately dismissed the idea of sacrificing himself the way the old him did for KC. Sun carrying him to bed after he presumably cried himself to sleep was also weirdly sweet. These two are such good brothers.

I'm kinda speechless at this whole episode. EC's performance is indeed 'epic' as well as heartwrenching. "I miss my brother!" reminds me of when Moon said, "I don't want to lose my brother!" Davis as Sun, having no idea what to do except hug his brother, feels all to real to my own experience with loss. And it turns out that Moon figures out what a lot of us did. You need a life for a life. (I am all for Bloodmoon being the sacrifice. Dude wants to die, which is so messed up, but he is an unrepenting serial killer.) But then Eclipse reveals that you don't! And it involves... using his current body. The one Evil Sun implanted something into. I don't doubt that Eclipse is right, but you just know this is gonna screw someone over.

Okay- that hurt- I feel like Moon needs more hobbies. Basing yourself off of one thing only is always going to make you feel terrible about yourself. The second you mess up that one thing, it destroys your self worth completely, which is what’s happening to him. Not only that, but it would give him something to do with his life AND probably a break… although that does raise the question of whether or not that would cause him to do it excessively as the celestial family’s coping mechanisms suck. Also, this entire sequence proves more of my point that New Moon at least is definitely a younger twin to Sun… and probably just overall a younger one to Solar. But then again, I’m pretty certain everyone in the family thinks that about Solar tbh- Suns the more responsible one in the group. Ironically. He takes care of his siblings and is there when someone needs a shoulder to cry on. This is an older sibling behavior. Not to say it can ALWAYS be healthy… and in Suns case, since he may be pushing down emotions, it’s probably not, but it’s something he does nonetheless. Also, not only that but New Moons introduction into the world is TECHNICALLY very recent… so it would make sense if he exhibited younger sibling behaviors. Examples(idk how to word this, so here are times where this headcanon would be accurate): When interacting at home, and Sun yells at Moon when he catches him eating chips before dinner, that is a very common behavior when it comes to older and younger family members. Earth is normalized to this. She’s probably seen this happen plenty of times before. Moons utter boredom when Sun starts talking about the history of gravel that basically tells the audience that this has happened plenty of times before. Although I dont blame him tbh, especially since he has ADHD and gravel isnt exactly the moat interesting topic. Outside of these examples and to the present episode, Moon also seems to be very self concious of not only the idea of losing the again probably oldest brotherly figure he has, but also the idea of letting the rest of his family down and not living up to any of them. Theyre not even big things he mentions, theyre little things no one wouldve thought to compare his skills to that he somehow happened to notice, like taking care of kids, cooking, being a good brother... stuff that his twin IS good at. Hes also not good with emotions, which while its not something explicitly stated, he probably compares himself to Earth in that regard as well. Soooo yeah- there's a headcanon for you! Although i suppose that kinda makes this entire episode worse- New Moon was just kinda thrown into all the drama immediately upon entering the world. Immediately having to not only deal with people expecting you to live up to some insanely smart guy who was apparently terrible to the one person you love most, but also deal with the weight of ALL the problems dumped on your shoulder because the other you caused everything. Now think about the fact that not only have you failed to fix everything... but lost one of the closest people to you and are expected to fix THAT... but you cant. You just, cant. For the first time in a while, I’m really glad that Eclipse is around for this because unlike the others, he didn’t have a personal attachment to Solar and can look at the situation objectively. ok I must say, this hurt me too much and I knew that one day this would happen, it is the first time I have seen Moon cry on the entire channel, I mean when Solar left he seemed hurt but he didn't seem to be crying, but here Moon did let it all out what he had inside, I know that he tried too hard to bring Solar back but I don't know what to accept or maintain the hope of bringing Solar back, it's all very complicated to think about, it would be good for Sun to stay with moon more time because he is going to need it

moon doesn't need to shoulder everything himself but he does sometimes which leads to cracks and those cracks get to big they break the structure seeing that structure break makes me sad but knowing that his family is there to help him repair the cracks and breaks does make me feel better and whether they know it or not eclipse seems to slowly but surely help repair as well

what moon means is that eclipse doesn't have any kind of attachment to solar, he haven't experienced attachment to someone as moon does, he's not grieving, he's not sad about solar dying, thus he CAN'T understand the emotional pain Moon is going through, is not the same if he really understood that, he wouldn't be mocking moon for "still mourning the death of his cousin"

@@deyisacherry tru, im just thinking, I don't think eclipse can even feel emotional pain if he wanted to. He was made as moons more "evil" side and the clone is made as a distraction so he is still unable to feel emotional pain, though that part of him is starting to break due to either his purpose being fulfilled or just him actually starting to feel a bit bad or both. Though yes he didn't have any emotional attachment to solar, I think him throwing himself away for that is kinda wholesome and sad at the same time- though yes you are not wrong.

When it comes to fictional stories, I usually never cry when it gets serious, and if I do, my eyes only get a little moist. This episode made me start SOBBING. Amazing job to Moon's actor here, the pain in his voice felt real.

That was one of the most emotional episodes I have seen since losing Solar. Moons breakdown was way over due since losing him and going through his Trauma with his past self. I am still being extremely hopefully that Solar will make it back one way or another, but there is always that posibility he wont. Cried alot for this one. Sending so much love and hugs Moon x cast, dont give up. Hope they get to do that brother therapy session with Earth and maybe Lunar soon, Moon needs it more than anyone right now. They should do that as a family group session x
