Several times while listening to this, I had to sit back and just shake my head in awe of the soundscapes, harmonies, time signatures, the virtuosity...saying, at one point to my wife, "My ears are so happy right now!" "Teen Angel Meets the Apocalypse" gives me the biggest surprise in 2023. It's absolutely an epic which balances progressiveness without sacrificing the melody. The symphonic arrangement, use of synthesizers and memorable piano harmonies unfold brilliant scenarios for me. My idea is a story of a youth breaking the old world order alone. Thank you for bringing me such a wonderful experience at the end of 2023. Hope more people can find this musical cornucopia.

OMG! What an amazing album. Every minute of it is a joy to listen to. With songs and movements ranging from somber melodies to triumphant outbursts and every beautiful sound in between, Moon Safari has created one of the century's greatest musical masterpieces. Not a note misplaced, not a song that wasn't sung to perfection. This album is by far the crowning achievement for a band that has consistently created great music. So worth the wait.

As a 0,5% your best fan (according to spotify) this is my new favorite album of yours so far (Lover's End is my ex now lol). When people ask which band is my favorite, during last 3 years i answered Moon Safari and this new album probably won't change it for the next few years or more. Your stuff have the best things i love in music but also combines all the decades of prog in one (60s+70s+80s+90s+00s, a bit of everything). Your music gives me nostalgia vibes and childhood memories for some reason but also feel modern and fresh. Some people say that your music isn't prog enough but it is always prog enough for me, it is interesting to me all the time and small details save even the songs i consider the least favorite, thats why every song of yours is in my playlist. As an electric guitar music fan (and player) i wanna mention that guitar solos got better on this one and also there are more of them which i really love, sax solo was great too, good job Jamison Smeltz! Your music often puts me into tears and this one is not an exception (last part of Teen Angel Meets the Apocalypse got me). Hope to see you performing live in Estonia one day, Love you Moon Safari!

@@charlespancamo9771 Moon Safari nails most other bands in choral sections and meticulous vocal arrangements that surpass Yes imo. I love the choir bits in South Side of the Sky or Starship Trooper, Close to the Edge etc, but Moon Safari attention to fine details within sophisticated harmonic structure is nothing short of masterwork. Absolutely brilliant. Someone recommended Moon Safari on a discord I am in back in January 2022. And I have been a massive fan ever since. I’m so happy to have some new Moon Safari tunes to listen to, because I just knew there would be one or two songs that would make it into my top 100 songs list on the new album. Teen Angel Meets the Apocalypse is your most unique song yet, it is vastly different from everything else you’ve done before. It’s heavier and reminds me a lot of Dream Theater. Love it love it love it! A Lifetime to Learn How to Love is close to perfect… Masterpiece of a song that I have cried to more than once. It reminds me of Ghost of Flowers Past, which is my absolute favorite of yours. (It’s in fact currently 9th on my top 100 songs list) Of course I love the rest of the album as well, no weak songs at all! Thank you for these amazing pieces of music, from the bottom of my heart. Tack så mycket ❤

Instant classics, amazing writing. Lastly, this album makes me believe you guys can play any type of prog metal. You can shred, you can tone it down when needed. You have amazing chorus moments and very complex technical passages. You just simply don't need to. There is no group that has your distinct harmonic sound...and we are all grateful for it. Just discovered this band & this album. I've been trying to find newer prog bands I might like as much as my 70s prog heroes. This is way different than the other neo-prog bands & what I was expecting. Initially I thought "Journey meets Survivor, ugh!". But then I heard Teen Angel. Wow! Just wow!! Oh it's prog, just not in a way I expected. I agree with the above comment that it's nostalgic while still being fresh & modern! How do you do it?! Also I've played guitar for 50+ years & the guitar playing on this is mind-blowingly fantastic. I love players that can use shred technique melodically, musically & in service to the song rather than showing off. This is the best example of that kind of playing I've heard in decades. That guy is breathtakingly spectacular!! Please do a 20 guitar-based instrumental in the future!!! Your music is so positive, uplifting & magical!! There are people like me who are experiencing the lowest point in their lives & your music makes a REAL impact!! I wanted you to know that your music makes a real difference in people's lives! Thanks for that!!
