Me being from USA Nebraska smack dab in the middle of the country. I love watching your videos. Listening to the waves crash against the shore. Your expression of your finds. Lovely sea glass, the beautiful colored pebbles, seashells. I wish I could get to the ocean again and find me some magnificent finds. Someday….someday

Now that Atlantic beach resembles some our beaches in the Pacific Northwest! Washington State and Oregon State. Places I visit and beach comb during spring and late summer! Love that ocean waves crashing against the shores. I, too, have to scuttle away from the waves as I always have my head towards the sand.🤓. Fantastic jewelry that you make is by far superior to mine. I usually don't get it right the first or second time around. Thanks for taking us with you on vacation to you're northern coastline. Blessings

Hello Craig and Nicole! So lovely to see you both. What a beautiful beach. Loved all the little pebbles having a rather large gem collection as well as a shell collection. You got some goodies! So pretty. I was Going to ask you, if you ever get down to the river Thames? I see northern mud, larking, and several others get massive amounts of cod, marbles and all kinds of really cool stuff. Pudding, dolls. Nicole, I would love to see your happy dance on there. They’ve also been in some really cool dump sites. So fun to see stuff being pulled out. Sending loads of love from California.💜🤗🤟🏻☺️🇺🇸

Not another pyramid at the start! - Moonstone works well making rings...nice bit of coastline where you are(no industry nearby)! As the evening draws sing Fly Me To The Moon! 15.15 - many years ago would have skimmed on that water strip for hours on end(with a board)! Something different to make! You could say the beach is a HIDDEN GEM ! Also commented on previous video .....
@scottishmudlarking
@scottishmudlarking Жыл бұрын
Haha! We loved the pyramid - there is another hidden away in the Highlands... we'll have to get to that sometime! :D Lunan is probably the most isolated beach we have filmed, its one of those places that you have to get to along a road so tiny that you drive along mumbling, please don't let anyone come the other way!! Haha!! Yes, it is a hidden gem for sure! ;D Oh! Sorry for being so tardy with our replies - we'll always get back! :D Many, many thanks, very best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo

@@scottishmudlarking no rush with your replies, busy schedule travelling and jobs, and videoing..... yes, the Gower outside Swansea is a long drive to get to the isolated beaches!

I have forced myself to stop collecting stones,and yet I turn a blind eye,and continue to do so! In my neighboring state of Michigan,you can find,literally the most shocking agates in the world,it is famous for them. I live on the shore of Lake Erie. It is 40 miles north,to the far shore. It’s like the seashore,with waves like Lunan Bay. I need to make a video of it to show you. I promise,you have never seen a lake this big. You will think that it is the ocean!

We too are trying not to collect pebbles and such, but now and again, just one or two! What an amazing place to live - we have many lochs, but nothing anywhere near the size of the great lakes! Would be great to see that!! We have plans to vist a few of the lochs soon!! Thank you so much, Very best wihses, Nicole & Craig xo

Awwgh how lovely Lunan Bay beach is close to my heart I grew up in the fishing village of Ferryden just up the coast a bit from where you were, my sister and I spent many a summer's day there in the late 70s early 80s soaking up the sun and splashing around in the water, I've got many wee stones and bits I've collected from Lunan since I was little. I've made a sea shrine in my back garden from stones and things I've collected from there over the years 'I love your wee nickname for the white moon like pebbles' their one of my favourites too, if you ever get the chance have a look at Ferryden beach and beside and behind scurdiness lighthouse it's steeped with history, from Lunan its not far at all, thanks for sharing your wee Lunan Bay beach adventure I thoroughly enjoyed it much love Lors (aka October)

What an incredibly lovely part of the country to grow up in! It really is one of the most amazing places along the coast! We will definitely have to get ourselves along to Ferryden - thank you so much for letting us know. Those wee white stones are just so nice, their texture and the way the light hits them! Like a wee moonbeam in your hands! :D So glad you enjoyed it... thank you so much, best wishes! xox
