I think a bit of fault of his company. He's been constantly working since 5/6 months with his subunit comeback and tour. They didn't put his mental health into priority and made him keep working for tours. Kpop industry is very brutal, idol is just money making machine for the company. They had a concert in macau this Saturday as well. Imagine having to deal with all this stress when you're already depressed. 😢

He probably couldn’t answer b/c he might have been afraid that he couldn’t pretend to be strong enough for her to lean on. Things would slip through the cracks and it would have caused his sister further worry and anxiety.
