Yes, Elytra in Minecraft can be as infinite as how infinite the world is. But if they took all the nearby Elytra while flying with Elytra (which is way easier), the others who are gonna try finding them the first time will have to travel quite the distance. So Moona is correct in enacting those rules. Now, if the others wanna try finding Elytra for the first time, they still got to experience the process. And when someone who already has Elytra want to look for a spare (or spares), they can but they need to go the other direction. The ID Server has a few rules, but that's what makes it fun to play as both an experienced player or a newbie.

That's a good rule. Imagine new ID genmates hunting their first elytra on the ID server. End up going to -9000 x -9000z just to find 1. I even not explored that much when playing a minecraft survival in early version of it for 5 years

I think it's good to have someone like Kaela in the server. Most of the time hololive members are busy, they don't have that much free time to go to the end just looking for spare elytra (except on stream, maybe?). And having someone who sell or lend an elytra at anytime is really helpfull, especially for members who lost their elytra all the time or for emergency.

There are only 9 member of holo ID, I don't think hoarding elyrta will do much damage. This can also lead to technology progession like moona making ice bridge machine in "the end" so they can easily reach even 100k blocks away to seach cities. Also if ID server ever connected to JP/EN, then JP's 2nd resource server is a good place to seach for Elytra because it is resetted once in a while (1st reset 1.18 update, 2nd reset 1.19 update).

Good that Moona set some rules regarding getting Elytras because it can totally make hunting for Elytras a tad harder for the rest of the ID Members without Elytras or those who suffered zenloss. Also, doesn't help Kaela raided the End Ship but didn't touch the End Cities too much. A friend of mine did this in our server and it was such pain. P.S. If Kaela sold Elytra, it would devalue the importance of Elytra and make members more careless. Prime example of this is Ollie who wanted to buy Elytra instead of experiencing the thrill and anxiety of finding it yourself in the End. P.P.S. Don't go hating on Kaela though. She is a Minecraft beginner and doesn't know yet courtesy, ethics, and other things that most Minecraft players know. I am excited to see her grow as a Minecraft player so don't go hard on her.

good rule. Some time ago when we played on a server everyone started to get elytra from nearby the respawn and when they got the first elytra they kept hunting the closest end ships so if someone lost his elytra or someone new went to the end they were forced to tu run for hours with hundreds of blocks to make bridges to find some ship that wasn't looted earlier and that was a problem and no one liked it.

before Moona setting the rules Kaela already realizing the problem that might occurs. that's why she only loot really far far away and in one straight line. she didn't touch the nearest from spawn. she even share the coordinates to Ollie who want to get her own elytra. after peoples making (unnecessary ruckus) about it, here we know Moona and Kaela discussed about the topics and both agreed with Kaela initial plans on looting the furthest area and expand the"straight line"area that Kaela original plan as her looting area to minus x area become all her looting area. this clearly shows that they know what they're doing...far before people making a ruckus about it

While you can endlessly spawn new end cities, it is pain in the arse to even find one of those in the nearest chunks. Kaela's grinds sounds cool and awesome but it brings pain to other members who would want to search for their own elytras, unless Kaela is giving those elytras to other members as incentive.

@@pewchanaue7612 Yes, that is why Moona specifically mentioned, do not touch the ones in + coordinates, even if it reaches over 1000. Traversing in End world is a lot harsher and high risk; making + coordinates untouched would help elytra-less members to find End cities and return to overworld without getting lost (like Irys). You also need to consider zenloss and searching for new one or two spare elytras. Since ID has less members, I think it should not be much of an issue but it is good to have a self control so that others can "enjoy" traversing through End worlds finding End cities without elytra.

These rules are pretty standard for minecraft servers. Usually you are allowed to use elytra on one direction.
