I guy my sister didn't know slammed his car into the back of hers because he an 85' iq'er. When my sister got out to exchange insurance info he slapped her. She got his plate # and went to the police station and they said bc she had no visible marks they could only give her his info for insurance purposes. That's all I needed and I don't think he even knew where it came from. Yeah, it's been going in forever, but there are many alpha males who hate that almost more than anything. Part of the deal was Paul became a distributor for Perdue products. Major area grocery chains abided by the arrangements for labor peace. Your pretty spot on with the info from what I found out it was Joe Watts first hit and John Gotti shot him first twice in the chest Joe Watts shot him a few times in the head and Sal Vitale and a few guys drove the body to Roy DeMeo who chopped him up. Roy Demeo was only a made guy under Nino Gaggi. Roy was only a made guy from 1979 to 1982 or 1983 and Nino Gaggi killed him that false rumor John Gotti turned the hot down it's a lie John Gotti would have killed him in a heartbeat. I've heard Sammy Gravano say that Paul Castellano wasn't a gangster and that he was more of a racketeer, more than once. Also, he wasn't a street guy. He said that was the cause of his demise. I'm sure that there is some validity in those opinions. However, Paul Castellano was quite ruthless and murderous when he wanted to be! His daughter's boyfriend is a perfect example. You also have to remember the shooters and brutal stone-cold killers like the Westies and Demeo crew that he had at his disposal and command. John Gotti and Gravano put a hit on Paul because they feared him!
