I think the Cinderpelt and Darkstripe minis are bad just on the basis that they don't look like the characters. They're both too warm gray, to the point of looking brown and Darktripe doesn't have his, you know, *dark stripes*. Looking at the pictures in the shop, it seems like his stripes are the exact same color as the rest of him. Which is just very weird. I keep thinking Cinderpelt is Briarlight because of her color and weird pose. And if I didn't know the mini was Darkstripe and you asked me to guess who it is, I don't think I would land on the right answer anytime soon. I don't know WHO I would guess but certainly not Darkstripe.

Agreed, and honestly to some degree, the same thing also applies to Mapleshade. Just what the hell is that. Maybe I am just biased because I find her novely very intresting if imperfect, but god damn you are doing my girl dirty. You already refuse to give her a dignified ending and now you make her look like a balloon with mediocre spots. I’d love it if she had sticks and leaves in parts of her fur and generally looked unkempt like she was mostly described during her killer streak

I do like how tigerstar’s dark marking on his head looks like a sort of ghoulish claw, i think it’s probably my favorite non-scar identifying marking, but the lack of scars i can see on him from the photo seems kind of weird if they’re going for something intimidating

the issue i have with the markings is they try to do a fur texture they try to do with them. Mudclaw looks good because they didn't do that. maybe cause he's short fur? idk. If they just did smooth lines for the markings they would all look 1000x better.

I love the Ravenpaw mini so I want them to re-realease him so I can get him. Give him a yellow bandana and put him in a set with Barley. NOW. spotted tabbies definitely exist! and even if they didn't want to make him spotted for whatever reason, giving him light blue eyes when he's explicitly consistently described with dark blue eyes in tbc, and making him longhair when he is never described or depicted as longhair in canon, are also baffling decisions
