Thanks for watching mate. Do you get wild Barra over there in Malaysia?
@AriffAffendi Жыл бұрын
@@MikeyCunninghamFishing sure do mate.. heaps of wild barra back in the days yea... but now...chances are slim to none due to overfishing of the fishermans and those pesky "meathunters".. problem is , we dont have bag limit here so everyone up for keeps. kinda sad to see those barra numbers dwindling year after year. im one of the original 4 blokes of anglers that emphasize on catch and release to the next generation anglers here in Perlis. kinda frustrating that the movement didnt seems to works. .... been hangin my fishing tackle for almost 10 yrs now.. yea...still miss fighting barra and mangrove jacks in the wild.. miss the golden days .. hope i could join you fellas in the future., livin the dreamsss..

@MikeyCunninghamFishing Жыл бұрын
I’ve looked at lots of ways to do this. There is a lot of red tape involved. Almost any way I’d want to do it would technically be considered a “charter”. I’d need to have my boat in survey and a tour operator licence. Back when Ash had his charter business it would have been easier.

Awesome video Mikey, I've been watching & re watching your videos over the last 6 months as we're heading out to King Ash Bay in a few weeks time. Thank you for all the content & info you post, it's priceless and has given me heaps to think about while I sit here going through all my fishing gear but still knowing that I'll still grab more stuff at Fishing & Outdoor World as I always do every trip up there haha. Keep up the cracking videos, they're so appreciated. Thanks again & tight lines..

What size hooks do you use with the Lure Lab soft plastics
@johngibson3837 Жыл бұрын
Hey up Ash thanks for the invitation, i don't understand soft and hard on the mud crab would make sense if its only for female or is it something to do with a fat belly? Have caught some when visiting sisters in Tully, mud crab sandwich is to die for, only discovered mikey channel couple a days ago just love it. Jon

Forgot but what were the lime type leaves called, if there lime is it aboriginal wild limes
@MikeyCunninghamFishing Жыл бұрын
Nah mate. Kaffir Lime leaves. They are used heaps in Thai cooking. The hard and soft shells in the crabs helps determine how much meat is in crab. Soft ones are less full. Also a soft one may have malted it’s shell recently and is just regaining strength and condition with their new shell. Hope this makes sense mate. -Mikey🤠👍🏼
