Khaotung told in a live that his character is the same age as Wen and Alan, between 26-28.. Only Uncle Jim is almost 40..

Theirs a part in the sex scene. Earth is on top. Mix on bottom. There is a focus on their wrists. Earths is bare. Mix has expensive jewelry. Shows the separation in class. Love that little detail

So far i think I'm gona like this series, love each characters, I'm excited about Wen character what's going on with him to make him have a one night stand with Jim, like you said Lydia i think he's not getting what he wants from his boyfriend, still that doesn't give the right to cheat, but i think there's a reason to his action, we will find out in next episodes to come. I love Heart and Li ming characters we will see how there bonding start developing in next episode. Thanks for sharing your reaction.

So the fact that the show has no premiere is because it is a Disney+ release, they did that with the whole Midnight Series and Good Old Days, it is uploaded on D+ and youtube but not on TV that is why, usually the premiere i believe correspond to the time the show is aired live on TV, insted the D+ ones are first uploaded on the streaming platforms(YT included) and then later on aired on TV Actually Midnight Motel just started airing on TV

Thank you for reacting. Wow hearing your perspective is soo different from mine lol, especially for Wen's character but I like your viewpoint a lot because like you said we're looking from the cheaters' perspective. For me, I guess because I know they've changed the original story which can include the cheating & from what they've spoiled & I've seen in the trailer. I think Wen & Alan aren't really together anymore or like Wen has been trying to break it off with Alan but Alan is old-fashioned so he's committed to Wen if he doesn't love him anymore. Regardless of the excuses like you said it's still cheating even if they're together even just a little & it's not okay but we won't know until they introduce Alan. I'm dying to see First already & now all the tea lol. It's soo funny how Khaotung is Frist & Mix's age both & in real life & in the show but he still looks soo small compared to them especially next to Earth like I can't it's soo cute.

The only issue I have is about the deaf character. He only lost his hearing recently so that means he knows how to talk plainly. Usually the grunting is when they have been deaf since birth and have not learned to talk.

The pacing is way too slow for my taste, but EarthMix is always good together and they always play this type of soap-ish drama. Love your reaction. *edited* this has only 8 episodes, right? The thing is by the end of part 4, I only got two people had one night stand and both couldn't get each other out of their heads while one of them also kind of in a relationship with I assumed a long-term partner as the premise..... Or is that the whole premise? I like Wen's character because I see his complexities, it's the kind of drive that we probably need in wanting to get to know his backstory and motivation. I'm conflicted with Jim either because the writing has yet reveal much about him what his dynamic is aside from the "hard-working honest man who provides for family and who's hot enough to become local sweetheart" or that Earth's acting compared to Mix's has that big gap. I agree with your assessment regarding the cheating and rest of the characters, but structure-wise, story order, I think they could've done better. For an 8 episodes series, episode 1 just didn't pack enough materials for me go on. I don't know if I'm gonna continue to watch. Like I said, the pacing is way too slow for me. I finished Tales of Thousand Stars fine even though it had also similar-ish soap slow drama, but the structure was clear and the stakes of the storyline was provided in episode 1. This is just personal taste, but I prefer knowing or having less subtle hint of the conflict or potential twist from the premise in this. Have fun yall

I am debating whether I can push through the series despite the cheating(which I can't stand)

I'm the opposite, I started it because of EarthMix, but I'm loving Gemini and Fourth and just watched the first episode of My School President. As you are now interested in the rest of the cast, you totally should check 1000 stars and Not Me. Seriously, I'm sure you gonna like it. I can relate to not liking the cheating. but I try to look at it as good drama has some element of problem that needs to be revealed and worked out other wise it would be boring. while I can do without cheating themes I do love Enemy to Lover themes. how about you?
