This song has always had a very special place in my heart. I had it in repeat for ages and when me and my ex broke up, or, when he was cheating for the millionth time, this was the song I cried to every night. It was an abusive relationship, he was violent and constantly cheating and he would not let me leave and I was so scared. But the cheating ended up being a blessing in disguise. dear whoever needs to hear this, i hope one day you come to see your self the way i see you because you obviously have a good music taste. life will continue to throw obstacles at you but that’s what makes living a little less boring. society has deemed us to feel sad in our own loneliness but it’s okay to realise that you can find happiness in your own body. you don’t need to be in a crowd of people to feel loved. i’m glad you exist and i hope you never feel that you have to remove your spot from this world that you fit into. you might not feel like this is where you belong but we’re all put here for a reason and you’ll find your place some day or another. if your reading this at night, go to sleep, your probably overwhelmed and stressed about what the world has thrown at you today and that’s completely normal - you just need to hope tomorrow is a better day. if your reading this in the day time, don’t start it with such sad music. it’s impossible to have a good day with a bad mindset. however, crying is not a weakness it’s just a temporary flood. if your feeling sad or alone then look up at the sky because you’ll know that someone else out there is looking at the sky too - maybe feeling the same way you are. sometimes what you think is the right train can take you to the wrong destination but that’s why trains go two ways. you can continue to suffer and feel angry in the desperation that things aren’t going your way or you can get up, turn around and try something new because you’ll be suprised at the way you can easily become satisfied and see what you were doing wrong. don’t beat yourself up over past mistakes, past regrets, things your mind wants to destroy you and things you cannot change. i’m completely aware that it’s cliche to say things get better but they absolutely do. your beautiful, your strong and the opinion of a few small people in this world do not matter. i really hope the best for you and that someday we’ll cross paths again but until that day comes, keep swimming in the other direction.
