If you are going for Sunday and think, you now need a summon dmg dealer and Jing Yuan is right there, you should wait. Don't get fomoed! You can still use Sunday as your new Bronya. Wait for more information, because there will be the next "op-oh-my-gawd-meta-summon-dps" and you saved your warps. Unless you want him, you don't need Jing Yuan because you have Sunday!

I don't think this is confirmed yet, but (based on upcoming Agalea and RMC splash art) I think that it's likely that the Remembrance path will be summons focused. So Sunday will probably be the ideal support for that new play style.

My Favorite Game is difficult to choose. For old games it is Tomba 2 and Monster Rancher 2. If we are talking current relevant games then Stellaris, Endless Space, Kingdom Hearts, and XCOM. Ever since information and the drip marketing for Remembrance Trailblazer and Aglaea dropped, Sunday went from skip to priority in an instant for me. Was planning to skip him and Fugue to save up for The Herta after getting E2 Acheron for Nihility builds and DoT teams which I am lacking. Then as I mentioned, the new path and character dropped and my previous plans were thrown out the metaphorical window.😂 The ironic part is that I am 10 to 20 tickets away from a guarantee hard pity pull that was supposed to be for E2 Acheron. XD But future synergies with summon builds are too tantalising to ignore! So Sunday it is, and then its stockpiling for Aglaea all the way!

I was gonna skip Sunday,then they showed Remembrance… It’s a long shot,but I hope Aglaea,Remembrance Mc,Sunday would be a good team. I kind of love the idea of hypercarry being a meta option again. I'm pretty new and don't have many characters outside of FUA, so it would be nice to run a secondary team that gives me a valid excuse to keep pulling summon DPS chars of different elements. It keeps things from getting stale without needing to build a whole new team.

At first i didnt want to pull for him as i was saving up for a jade rerun but then i remembered how ruan mei became a crucial member in most teams which led me to realise that if i dont pull for sunday now, in the future there is a possibility that he might get a rerun with a new unit that goes well with him (3.x characters) just like how ruan mei had a rerun with firefly’s debut. TL;DR: I pull sunday = long term investment + saving jades for new 3.x characters that might need someone like sunday

They didn't get proper introductions though, and the characters weren't individually showcased on the 2.0 livestream unlike the Penacony characters (Except for Duke Inferno). Every character that was introduced there became playable (Duke became a relic set though so...)

The everflame mansion characters were not on the same level as the Amphoreus cast they just showed Duke and only Duke with the penacony introduction and the children got only 1 trailer besides they ain't even dead only Duke but there is NO way they will ever do that to the flamechasers they introduced these characters to get us hype not to show us who they gonna murder next

@kaychan7242 lol the 3.x characters are going to be expies of the Flamechasers from Honkai Impact, just Elysia alone is a major fan favorite. you saw what happened with Acheron, Luocha, getting full quests dedicated to them with Welt; the same thing will happen here. expies of major HI3 characters like Bronya (Silver Wolf), Mei (Acheron), and Luocha (Otto) have always been important to the plot.

I am unsure if I want to spend the jade on Sunday or save for Firefly and possibly E1 her. Right now I do not have Firefly. I started HSR during the Jade/Argenti rerun banner. Also, The Herta might be a good option as well; if not then her lightcone might be useful for my 4 star Herta. Since she currently uses Himeko's lightcone but with the free 5 star I will need that lightcone for Himeko once I get her. Them 2, plus Robin, and Aventurine will be my FUA team and will make Pure Fiction a lot easier. Sunday seems to be the start of a new summon focused team since we know that the new world will have many characters that uses summons and introduce the remembrance TB who also has a summon. Getting him as one of the supports might help in the future unless they release an even better summon focused support character in the future. I would rather now skip him and then miss out of some awesome teams because I do not have him. It is like all the good characters across all the current Hoyo games are all running the most wanted characters at once. ZZZ is about to run Miyabi after Lighter. HSR is going to run Sunday and then rerun Firefly soon afterwards. Genshin is about to run or is already running Mavuika the Pyro Archon (I don't play Genshin which is why I don't know).

I want to pull for Sunday for the new path and because he looks like a great support overall (I'm a newer f2p player that learned my lesson to not overlook supports lol), but I have a question. I have 125 pulls saved up and am at 74 pity, so would it be better to try for e0s0 Acheron or wait for e0s0 Firefly? For context, I do have a team for Acheron (e0s1 Jiaoqiu, Pela, and Gallehger/e0s0 Aventurine/e0s0 Fu Xuan) but all I have for break is Gallehger and HMC. That said, could Firefly, Fugue, Jiaoqiu/Tingyun, Gallehger work?

a) Firefly is obviously insane and from a pure powerlevel perspective roughly in the same league as Feixiao and Acheron right now (though demanding on your SP unless you get E1). And I'll tell you something: basically any dps is a valid teammate for superbreak if they match the weakness which gets much easier with Firefly implanting Fire. Hunt March in particular can always fill in and so can Himeko, should you have her, especially when you can implant Fire weakness with Firefly. Obviously you'd rather have Ruan Mei than a mediocre DPS, but for example I (three months-account still struggling to max some endgame) two-star'ed AS 4 today with a makeshift Superbreak team for the Sunday half consisting of badly built HMC (no 145 speed for Thalia), Gallagher, Kafka, Guinafen (the latter two on DoT build with Pioneer/Glamoth relic sets because I forgot to switch relics though Guinafen at least had Fermata LC to help with break). If you just farm two middling relic sets with any combination of Thief/Iron Cavalry/Thalia/Forge (if Fire weak), you'll do even better. Add Firefly on top and you shouldn't have any real issues. b) Acheron is a bit inflexible for free to play and her signature Light Cone is significantly better than any replacement option (also the best one being S5 Gacha only in Good Night Sleep Well is probably harder to get than her Signature). She's not bad, on the contrary, she's one of the top two dps in the game. Her issue is you need to build around her and she's very demanding. You want to run Jiaoqiu in Superbreak as filler vs fire weakness? Bad luck, your Acheron team needs him. You want Pela because the other side happens to be Ice weak? Bad luck, Acheron needs her. If you go into the Acheron pulls with open eyes that's fine, just don't let yourself be surprised by it (and optimally you'd have at least three Nihility "supports" that go with her so you're a bit more flexible about teambuilding. Honestly what I wrote sounds worse for Acheron than it is. I pulled for her (I get battle pass, but don't spend on anything else) and between two of Pela, Kafka and Guinafen and then either Gallagher or Fire MC (Trend Light Cone) I can make her work in most content. The fact that you already have Jiaoqiu makes your setup better than mine and your Acheron team will do fine in anything (unless the fight mechanics are randomly very bad for that team). You should just be aware that running double-Nihility is somewhat demanding. tl, dr: either of the two should complement your account nicely, in fact it seems to be Sunday who doesn't really have a home yet (though it's likely to exist sooner rather than later) and pulling for supports is traditionally the correct choice.

I did know Acheron requires 2 nihility unless she's e2 and it did make me think about whether I wanted to invest in her (I do also have Luka, Guinaifen, and Welt, just not built because I don't want to stretch my resources too thin), but I also kinda like that it makes her a bit unique for me. I keep hearing how absolutely broken super break is, too, and that it's a lot easier. The fact that both Acheron and Firefly don't care about weakness type in their own ways would be invaluable to me. I only have 1 team put together so far and that's Ratio, March/Moze (depends on who I'm fighting), Jiaoqiu (stand-in for Robin), and Aventurine. I'm really enjoying FU, but I know I need more than that. I don't know much about the end-game modes yet - I know I need 2 teams, but I'm not rushing to get there and I know I'm nowhere near ready for it. Right now I'm trying to expand my roster and try different archetypes, but sadly my pulls have not been nice to me. Sunday is an investment for the future yeah, but I'm really interested in the new path. Tempted to try for Jing Yuan, but for now he's less valuable. On the other hand, I could skip Acheron and Sunday, hope I'm lucky enough to get both Fugue and Firefly and just not use RMC 'til I have a summon team. Or just for for Sunday and Fugue and at least have supports ready. I've been saving up for them after all, just didn't expect 2 of the best dps to be competition too.
