Fun fact: Derrick when it first came out in the main game, the spawns for both teams were flipped. Before the devs fixed it, CTF on it became a nightmare for both teams as they had to run to the enemy spawn to capture their flag

I have been, HEAVILY spawncamped on fortress, however its only happened in two matches, required a good chunk of the enemy team collaborating, and it didn't win them the match.

as a (kinda) new player to pf i can tell how much of a pain most of these maps are just from a few minutes of playing, but so far i really love ruins its a nice map perfect for having fun (unless you have tryhard enemies).

You know I like how no matter what maps you personally like or dislike everyone can agree that man this game is rough in the map department. One thing I’d change is grouping crane site and variants together. For some reason in the revamp version it’s always the new side with car-warehouse-roof-sniper-thing getting spawncamped.

Fortress... About that- I'd just grab my ultra-recoil honeybadger setup and run around in their spawn but all jokes aside only one team has the recognizable potential to successfully spawncamp in my humble opinion.

On Derrick, I like to head to that Chinook helicopter on the fringe of the map and pick stragglers off with a BFG50. It's one of the few sniping spots on the map.

I remember the OLD OLD cranesite it had wierd buildings with pipes and you could enter the radio tower and it had a red button in it. I also remember dying to a guy with a scar hamr in cranesite back then

Fun fact: on rig, you can get on the other rig by super jumping canceling from the nearby roof. It’s more effective if you don’t kill people there, but instead act like a UAV

During one match of black site I immediately got PTSD of operation Locker when all the players starts throwing grenades everywhere. The another trait of operation Locker is players constantly rain down hell at a hallway and throw explosives.
