I love the Moonshae Isles. I only have played one campaign there but it was quite memorable. Since it is one of the few places in Faerun we can find LeShay certainly helped.

We had an experimental DND Campaign section where we play as dragon. We start out as batch of eggs that consist of chromatic, metallic and gem dragons. We decided our dragon type and start the hatch. I don't care if people consider wyvern as less than a dragon or nothing but a flying lizard, I prefer wyverns as its own dragon type like eastern dragons (Lung dragons). I fused my playable Topaz dragon's arm to its wing, thus making it like a wyvern and increased my flying ability while keeping my intelligence. Other players called me weird but I got the most fun out of it.

Back in the early 2000s, I was rather fond of the Moonshaes. It was cool to see the druid focus, kind of before Druid was just another class, and I enjoyed the Earthmother aspect of Chantea, the monstrous Kazgoroth, and the Kendricks. It wasn't quite as cool as the Silver Marches, or Cormyr, but definitely another fun example of why the Forgotten Realms are my favorite setting. 😊 It does, however, also stoke my own biggest personal complaint with 5e; the 100 year time skip. For a setting I partially love so much because it comes so filled in, I frequently get annoyed when I want to know what has "officially" occurred in area, between the end of 3.5, and now. So much of 4e FRCS has been ret-conned out, after it sort of butchered the setting, but since Faerun is now the central setting, they won't just give us an updated Forgotten Realms Campaign book, like of old, when they can write regional spotlight books, like Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, and Icewind Dale, and they don't drown us in questionable splatbooks, like they did in 3e. I'd love to know who is the current king of Cormyr, or what happened to the line of Tristan Kendrick? Did Kazgoroth ever pop his T-Rex head back up, and did they have the Sword of Cymrych Hugh on hand to fight him? When did Alustriel stop ruling Silverymoon? Some is in a wiki, and some is left empty fir a DM to populate, but I still wish that I could know. 😊 Thank you for the fun video, and sorry for the wall of whining.

Two types of sting: ethanol and methanol. Both poison and debilitate creatures. Both are flammable. Ethanol temporarily incapacitates its poisoned target. Methanol temporarily incapacitates and permanently blinds its poisoned target.

Well, since the Wyvern has Int:6, it is smarter than the typical family dog, let alone the yard cat that plays with mice & rats instead of eating them. So any wizard able to cast Charm Monster would be able to create circlets/ earrings to boost its Int to follow commands. But as they say for birds of prey, they only fly when need to due to biomass fuel costs. Seeing buzzards and local hawks riding the thermal currents is common in my area. Main Street has a grain warehouse factory with a large dirt/gravel semi-truck delivery parking lot. Summertime it takes nearly a minute to walk across, and you sweat balls doing so. The hawks are circling overhead. As for wyverns being .. pets, .. I would be very sure they love a brushing behind the ears. Due to feeding habits regarding biomass, they do mostly circles the thermals on a lookout for sea life of seals, tuna, sharks, and small whales. If they are anything like turkey buzzards, you find them in someone's field laying on their backs sunning their bellies. Problem being they would dig shallow pits like large dogs to fit the covertures of their spine. Now as for their slightly above human wisdom and low charisma, young wyverns will be very curious and playful. Like crows or bob cats pulling things off the clothesline. They could ruin a month's worth of work pulling everything out of a barn just to see what is in there. Gaps between barn wood wall boards are not just for letting in air and light, but also used as arrow slits when you have a bear in the barn. On the offhand, depending on how you run kill action with crossbows at point blank range. Hangging .. chum .. from watchtowers to scent bait wyverns and to butcher sites. That is a lot of wing leather to harvest. Now as for the meat ? If the meat is eatable after a lemon juice, vinegar, salting stored for a few weeks. The locals could view outsiders Pouching elephants. There .. ARE .. LAWS .. in regards on how one hunts wyverns. First off it is more .. sporting, second it is a high crime/sin to waste all that meat and leather. Not to mention the export profit loss in coin and trade goods the island communities could have gained.

whoever wrote that lore would have benefitted from substituting 'evil' for a few of the overuses of 'corruption' I mean you can still call it corruption like political corruption in the real world but since Evil is an axis of the planar structure it seems odd to not just call i t what it is and be polite like that.

@@AJPickett like I said it's generally just a sign of weak writing and it's the only example I picked up on the entire piece which I quite enjoyed, to use the same word several times in the same paragraph, and like I said in this context using evil is a good choice because it's a fundamental part of the cosmology like the Zhentarim corrupt governments because they worship evil baby eating gods might as well just use it once in a while to change it up and keep the language fresh. I love your videos dude thanks for the responses.
